The fact they say "He killed most the album in the first 13 seconds..." while also showing they could barely understand everything he was saying, shows how lazy people are with reviewing the album. I love the album as well, people need to understand that people evolve, despite how so many fans stay stuck in the same spot for decades. Like he said in Rap God, "Morphin' into an immortal, coming through the portal, you're stuck in a time warp from 2004 though".

He rivals Rap God with his last verse on Offended, he kills it on the last half of Untouchable, his verses for Framed were insane, Tragic Endings and Believe were both phenomenal and at the same time Castle and Arose were beautifully emotional songs. I think this album is seriously underrated

yea i dont understand the hate about the album, personally i totally love it, its been a month since its out and i have listen to nothing else since, i like a lot the old eminem like he was on slim shady lp and marshall mathers lp, but i was 13 when i started to listen to his music, now im 30 so i like to see that he has grown has well, and talks about more emotionnal and intelligent stuff, people have to understand has well that has an artist sometimes he his just trying to do stuff a bit different, personnally i love the album, i love that he attack trump on it, and i totally love that song, so i dont care about what haters says, for me its been an amazing month

Walk on Water was artwork. He was being vulnerable and expressing his insecurities, just as he has on older albums, coupled with a beautiful chorus from the Queen Bee. The "hooks" on Revival do not detract from his skill or the subject matter.

The thing about his album, is that it's almost like grown folk music. This album was more introspective than most of his others, something more emotional. Also, the fact that Joe trashed it based off just the track listing was kind of wack. At least listen to it before you say it's trash.

He's an artist, he decided to think outside the box a bit. Eminem isn't 25 anymore, he's a grown man who's been through a TON and he made the album HE wanted to make. He's in a league of his own really. He's reached that status and point in his career where he doesn't need to compete with anyone, he has nothing left to prove! Again, my opinion!

Come on "Walk on Water" is a lyrical masterpiece. Em just poured out his emotions in that song. It's on of the best songs I've ever heard from Em. Stop telling it sucks. You're joking!

Honestly, I really like Revival. I’m not the biggest fan of his new pop-concept (like having pink sing for 2 min. Until the rap starts and using old songs like zombie and “i love rock n roll”) but I think that his lyrics and the message that he is conveying. His rhymes and homophones are flawless as always. I think that he is still a battle rapper at heart and that he needs that hate to come back even stronger and proof everyone wrong. Therefore, his next album will be bomb!

Revival wasn't bad he was very lyrical on it. It was the beats and the hooks ppl had issues with. But Em was killing tracks maybe not spazzing on it but it wasn't bad as many hip hop heads would have you believe. The album was more of a rock/pop album sprinkled with a little hiphop. But Ems storytelling and lyricism are as strong as they've ever been. People were expecting too much so when they listen to it and those expectations were not met they couldn't really appreciate the album for what it was and thus said it was crap when it was actually a masterpiece especially with songs like a rose and castle.

Most People still don't understand that when Eminem is rapping like the new age rap he is making fun of them because it sounds like garbage. He even says he gets compared to only himself why should he sound like everyone else.

You guys missed the line where he targets you “So you sat with your arms crossed did your little reaction videos and talked over songs” because you were literally doing just that, you talked over it and didn’t react to it. I was looking forward to seeing that

Lol no one seen this coming. He let it out! The negative critics and reaction videos want to throw shots lol he’ll come back but even harder! He’ll never lose it and he never left. He’s been here and always will be. I love this song! My computer over heated and won’t turn back on anymore from having it on repeat.

InTheClutch Ent I hear what you saying and I understand why you might think that, but to me that line was not towards Joe and Akademics. It’s the reaction videos that dissed walk on water and the album, not necessarily you guys. Anyone that’s seen the video of Akademics and Budden, clearly see Budden does not diss Eminem...But Akademics roasts Eminem.

Wrong. This was not in response to Joe. Joe doesn’t make “reaction videos and talk over songs”. He also says “Y’all” meaning he was talking to multiple people and what do you know, the same people reacting to the album were reacting to the track list. But a lie sounds better than the truth, right? Anyway... let’s see how this reaction goes.
