The song saved my life. One month ago I was raped, robbed and left for dead in Mexico. Every single lyric I have gone through in the last couple weeks. I listened to this song on repeat during one of the hardest years in my life. I became homeless for four months, got an apartment then immediately got into a massive car accident, I had to take the bus 6 hours a day to get to and back from both of my jobs, my cat passed away, one of my friends committed suicide, then my mom got diagnosed with lung cancer and passed 6 weeks later, I got dumped and a bunch our “friends” turned their backs on me. I was consumed by grief, fear, and loneliness. I was in more pain then I thought was possible to survive. Today I’m in a whole new life… a beautiful life. Listening to this song brings me back though because wounds heal but we do keep the scars. I wish I could go back and tell myself that we made it out of hell and that I’m so proud of her. If you are in hell, just keep going, you will make it through.

Ive been thru similar, lost my cat, lost our house weve been in for 17 years , we are homeless now, my wife is very very sick from a tick bite from 2 years ago, both her parents have passed, my family turned their backs on us, no one for support, no one to show us love, so i feel your pain. I often ask myself whats to gain or learn from all these hardships, strength, resiliance, what, i dont get it, my bones can be shattered to heal but why, just because i can heal doesnt mean i should be shattered. My life is shattered and im so depressed. Im sorry for what youve gone thru or still are going thru, guess we arent alone. Listening to music is the only thing that puts my mind at ease temporarily, then i cry and pray. This world isnt fair.

Nameless Man I'm hoping you both get through your tough times. I used to be the most hardcore Eminem fan ever. He's definitely saved my life, in a way. I'm 19 now and switched to heavy metal. Nameless Man brother I'm so happy that you are alive I also came up with a broken family I do not know who my father is I have had several step dad who always tried to control me and now about a month I've lost my relationship with my wife that I've been with first seven years I'm only 23 I was contemplating suicide but then I was thinking that I have a son and that's the only reason why I haven't done it yet now I'm a felon because my wife continues to call the cops on me because of domestic abuse even though I caught her cheating I realize that I'm not supposed to do anything I'm just supposed to let it happen but that's not how I deal with things I never been the type of person to just be able to walk away but now I realize that the world full of crazy fucking psychopath the sociopaths sometimes you just have to walk away you never allowed me to just walk away she always kept me inside the house arguing and pushing me makes sense now she was trying to drive me insane in the head so I would just disappear from her life I ended up doing just like she wanted this song is so deep and emotional when I am depressed and contemplating suicide I put this on and I start working out I don't know why but I just feel way better when I hear the lyrics

Nameless I came up from foster home to foster home getting beat and literally tortured daily.Tried suicide 3 times died once, Been with my baby mom 8 years, she gave me my daughter. But then one morning my house was surrounded.. She was fucking my cousin behind my back I got sent off for a year lost everything. Don't even get to see my daughter. Still struggling with addiction, I see exactly where ya coming from my life was spiraling out of control i listened to em everyday and started the change. Eminem has helped so many people but got a bad name.. but he did it for us and for that we love you. Keep ya head up everyone and keep pushing forward.

I'm trying to detox my self off of pain pills. I been up for 2 days going through the most agonizing pain. Eminems music is the only thing helping me get through this hell....

Yes maam..after my last overdose i got clean and sober. Put myself in a sobah hse in boston..recovery and pain has my knowledge and wisdom..to many warriors have given up and they have passed. I wish u the best

Damn right I struggled so hard. Never thought I would withdrawl off dope. It's all fentanyl now. They didnt find any heroin in me just straight fetty. My dumbass let them put me on methadone . I left early and went thru more hell for another week. Then I found suboxone. What a beautiful cure to all my fuckin problems. Hahahahah . Yeah fucking right . False security . Same damn thing as opiates idgaf what anyone tells me. That withdrawl was a good month. Still I fucking relapsed after getting they the worst of it. Yet again another week of hell. I am so damn early in recovery but I wouldn't ever want to feel that pain ever the hell again. I'm done. God help me if my wife found out but I got 9 days clean . .

I got goosebumps reading that! You truly are an amazing father! Must be hard bringing up two children after the loss of their mum! Especially children of that age it's an awkward age without the loss of a parent as well. I was in the same position some years ago, and on everything this song saved my life. 2/22/18 and figured I’d listen to some music one last time before I go. Beautiful Pain came on shuffle and even tho I’d heard the song dozens of times, that 2nd verse hit me. “It’s as though you feel you’ve died cause you’ve been killed insane, but yet you’re still alive which means you will survive.” People call it corny but fck it, Em’s music has gotten me through so much pain and motivated me CONSTANTLY. I don’t know you or your situation but hard times reveal true colors. The ones that leave when you’re hurting didn’t care much in the first place. Try whatever you can to find the drive but never bottle it up. Reach out about how you feel, whether it’ family, a hotline, or an internet thread. But your willingness to pray for better times is a great step in progression. I was at the point where I hid everything cause I was dead set I didn’t want to be here anymore. Nothing but good vibes your way and I’m confident you can make it out

My dad is currently fighting addiction (has been for over 35 years), and he's relapsed after being clean for 7 years....I fear everyday I'm going to wake up without my father. I put a guy in prison for a serious crime he committed on me. This song really hits home for me. Because now after a year and 3 months I finally received justice. I spent that whole time numb and scared and depressed. Now, I feel stronger than ever! It is a BEAUTIFUL PAIN. I was living in a prison cell inside my soul until I received justice!!! I love how some of Eminem's songs give you a depressed feeling at the start and gradually escalate until you feel like you've overcome the depression at the end of the song.
