the name of the album is "The Eminem Show" which is why he sounds far away or like an announcer on purpose, sort of like it's a "show" of some sort. many of his older songs have intros or outros with jokes or stuff like that

EM does what u call concept albums. He picks a concept and plays around it whole album, songs bounce off each other. Today rappers can't stick to a subject in just one song and this man does whole albums that go around some concept, in this example Eminem show is when he was on top, touring so its a show off his life and throuout the album he plays with metaphore of Dre being Batman And EM is his Robin.. Music to be Murdured By was dopest concept album ever in my opinion. He was just showing off his skill, showing u how ez it is for him to murder anyone who will try to step to him. 🐐🐐🐐

Well even in Em's more easy songs they miss a lot of things. But this song is very old so that could happen. For example there is a small scheme about teror and the call 9-1/1 is a nice double in that scheme.

6:51 "dial straight down the center, 8-0-0... you can even call collect..." look at your phone and go to dial a number, 8 and 0 are down the center... but also back in the day an 800 number was a collect call usually from jail you would have to answer the phone and accept the charges before you could talk, and 1-800 is toll free, the call is already paid for... this for anyone who might not have known that.

If you feel like cheating something before Eminem kind of blow ups I do recommend you Infinity - before he met Dre. For me it's classic, but he was about to quick rap, due to the fact ot needing making money (Hailey was born already, and Em was 26 years old ...) so after Infinity alboum didn't made any numbers, he was about to quick for real.
