She doesn't sing, she tells stories to the music, that's why she's so pleasant.

Awesome!!! You nailed it. I've been saying for a long time that country music was being overrun by auto-tune and people lookin for quick fame instead of soulful and relatable music artists. (I'm not a fan of Sam Hunt for example) Thanks for bringing back some real country.

Preach on darlin, this song says what every True Country Music Fan feels with the New Country, which is more pop than Country Some talented folks but as you say the radio ain't got that old time spirit...My hope is this song gets plenty of air play on the radio and takes it up to number one. This song is a breath of fresh air darlin to the modern pop sound in New Country. You did an amazing job may G-D bless you and give you the desires of your heart. Be looking out for what else you got out there. Really enjoyed this so much!

Honestly I think it really took a hard left when they let Kid Rock "Cowboy" & Big and Rich "Save A Horse" on country radio. While they certainly aren't the root it was a big inflection point. Then when they started "rapping" in the middle of country songs, it went down hill FAST. After about 2010 if it wasn't Brad Paisley, Toby Keith or Carrie Underwood, I pretty much lost interest in "modern country'

Well Dam! I was just telling a friend, this modern "Country" is so gay! I grew up on Pasty Klein, and Hank Sr., Red Foley, and Tom T. Hall. Sing had 40 pounds of rhinestones on their suits, but at least made music, you wanted to hear! Yeah, I'm that old.
