He showed vulnerability with her cuz he trusted her and he loved his son enough to protect him, same as she did with Declan, whether they admit or not, Doyle and Emily had a lot in common She might’ve been a cover, but somewhere along the line, she fell for him, and you can’t fake that, especially given her nature

I love this video so much. I really believe Emily fell in love for Doyle. And hearing all these comments again once we know her past, I don't doubt that there were moments she wished she really was Lauren Reynolds. Looking at her life, Lauren had everything Emily wanted: a child and a man who loved her. Even if it was all a lie, I can't imagine her not feeling the loss of that life.

She did love him at one point befire she knew he was Valhalla.

It seems like she didn't plan to fall in love with Doyle, but then when she met his son, it began to change everything. She went to do her job and when Doyle told her he killed his wife to save their son, that seemed to change things. Emily seemed to have felt what Doyle did to protect the boy. Then Doyle wanted Emily to be a mother to the boy. Emily was trapped. She went to do her job not knowing her personal feelings would get in the way. She took a big risk and eventually she began to see things in Doyle little by little she never imagined.

She fell in love. And She was like Been there done that.

I noticed that myself after watching all the episodes for a 2nd time the writers did a great job when they decided to reveal that storyline for her probably one of the best I had seen on tv in years! I am so sad she isn't on the show anymore

does anyone else besides me think that Emily did fall for ian. cause in the flash backs and then her phrases it seems like she does

No you arenot the only one or she never would have kept his ring for all these years . I believe she really did love him even when he almost killed her, I mean up u til the time where Ian died she never had any serious relationships before that, only after his death

@@skyegrey-lance8004 I believe she even loved him way after that. Even after she knew who he was. If he had not wanted her to teach this son to be like him and he would have just let him stay a child I think she would have not pulled the plug so to speak even if that was what she was supposed to do. And she still had his rings , so yes I believe she loved him even after she knew who he was even after he was in prison. Maybe that's also why she never had a long-term boyfriend only after Ian died did she date long term for what we have heard in the show

I always thought the Doyle thing ties in really well with the early episode of Emily being really disturbed by the rapist who made women play house and pretend to like it.

Emily is such a great role model, I love how strong she is, and smart, she inspires me a lot Thank you, Paget 💙

Wow, this was remarkable. Emily Prentiss is my favorite television character of all time, so I definitely noticed all of these things already... but seeing them all put together like this is amazing! Thanks so much for making this, it's beautiful and heartbreaking.

Such an amazing video. I never used to think about those little phrases here and there but with Doyle and her past, it all kinda adds up. I love Emily and cannot believe we lost her...

Emily really loved him, thats for sure. And i kinda always shipped them. Maybe because i was once there. Loved a man who was a monster. You love this person even tho he is the wrong guy... I would never want emily and doyle being happily ever after, but it was love.

God, I want to meet this woman and to tell her that she is a huge role model and that she is damn smart, unique and talented.

I couldn't even focus on this storyline cause I had read ahead in the episode descriptions and thought she died, and I was too busy thinking about that to understand anything that was happening

It will be awesome if we can choose who you love. Many will choose the height, skin color, hair texture.... body type. Some will still probably choose the one their heart dance for and blissfully if the other person feels the same way.
