I know a lot of people that o er talk others and I can't stand it. I'll tell them to shut up and let me answer. One of my friends would do that when we talked on the phone and I would tell him a couple of times to not over talk me. When he would continue I just hung up on him.

Nah, definitely NOT racist. Kobe friends are definitely sexists and ignorant with women. But they do not display any hatred because of her skin color. They would treat any woman who they think is not a "stereotypical wife". They would probably treat a black woman worse. Infact, there is such thing has having certain privileges based on skin tone. Majority of non black foreigners in Africa are treated better than the locals. Read up on the effects of colonlism in Africa to understand this privilege.

That's another reason why they need to move out. If you don't want them in your business you have to get out and get on your own two feet bc it's not gonna be something that's easy to deal with hearing these unsolicited opinions and not being able to fully express yourself around ppl who are constantly judging you. They're also grown and can move out as soon as they find some place they can afford that fits all their needs. They don't have to wait for a certain age I remember when I was a kid you had to be 19 to rent an apartment on your own and I could not wait to move out bc my parents were always bitching at each other. So I think they should be happy to not have to go through a waiting period on top of having to save up and look around.

Hmm. I smell a showrunner’s fake storyline here to spice up a boring couple…

just from watching kobe and emily on pillow talk I thought they seemed like a really happy couple that enjoyed sharing their lives together a lot. Once he got around his friends in Camaroon they have planted the idea in his mind that he is actually not happy with his life in the US with Emily. Kobe always wanted something different than his life in Camaroon. He went to China to explore the world in a bigger way than his friends did. Now he is in the US with a wife and 3 beautiful children but they only want him to go back and be the way he used to be to make them happy.

Kobe and Emily should have told Kobe friends to bring a date, so Emily would had some other women to talk with, while Kobe socialized with his guy friends. Then maybe Emily would had seen how those other women interact with their partners.

I called bullshit on his friends. My husband is African. Before we got an apartment in Africa and went to visit my in-laws, I didn’t cook! My mother in-law cooked, I asked if she needed help. She was happy to prepare the food by herself. And her friends came on other days with whole dinners to celebrate us being there. I did take my mother in-law out to the market since she wouldn’t allow me to cook. My husband and I bought all the food. We were so happy to help in any way. I never cooked for my husband’s friends UNTIL we did have an apartment. I cooked Christmas dinner for them and if they came over I was happy to prepare food and drink for them. Same thing I do in the states… no different. My husband would never treat me as Kobe does. Never had he let his friends say 1 bad word about me. I think they know better. We have taken his friends to the beach to clubs before. Never had we came across this kind of nonsense as Kobe’s friends are doing. I feel for her. 😟💜

International, intercultural relationships are more interesting, vibrant and fun, in my opinion. But I grew up that way, my parents were from different continents, cultures and race. My mother grew up in three countries and spoke three languages. I have lived the same way and love this way of life. You never run out of things to talk about and can learn something new every day. There is so much to laugh about in the errors that we make and the language boo boos that occur. But you have to respect each other and know that neither of you is superior to the other. Be generous in your judgements, and your affection. My husband past away 15 years ago and I miss him. Been on my own since because I haven't found anyone as open and interesting as him.

She had almost 2 years when the world shut down and he was not approved for visa. She could have taken that time to gain a better understanding of his culture. He speaks multiple languages. It works both ways no one made Koby move to America & marry her or have baby number 2 & now baby number 3. Kobe being a people pleaser is like many that are emotionally unavailable. People pleasers do not allow them selves to reveal who they really are. They are to busy being what every one else wants them to be..making who they really are emotionally unavailable to others. It is a protective mechanism. Where are the girlfriends or wives of these jerk friends? If they are married I would bet they cheat, hey they are the boss they think. How about them being respectful and inviting her to their home? These are not friends & Koby is living with her parents instead of stepping up & getting them a home of their own. He has no problem having child number 3 but still living under her parents roof. The fact they keep disrespecting her because she is white & American. Not that she isn’t bossy she is but you seem to ignore the remarks they keep making about her being white but have no problem standing up for their culture. Koby has a voice but chooses to not use it by staying in her parents house, a real man would not continue to have child after child & not provide a home of their own for them. If he wants to be treated like a man & listened to then act like one. His friends are a jealous bunch & if Koby thinks or feels like they do their marriage will not last no matter how many babies they have. He chose to marry a white American woman & live in America no one forced him, if after she got pregnant if he didn’t want her then he shouldn’t have married her. Koby simply chooses the easy way out not standing up for his wife or telling her how she feels. His friends are racist because every sentence about her starts with her being white, but hey let’s just ignore that.

He’s caught between a rock and a hard place. I hope he will stand up for her. He seems to be in a happy relationship given they have three kids, and his friends are so into their own culture they can’t see outside of it. I’m glad Kobe escaped the misogynistic attitudes I’m hearing from his friends. Kudos for him evolving into a much more mature, global person!

Its probably easier for Kobe to "put up" with the bs and gain control of the property than try to afford a nice home for his family of five later. Thats a lot of expense! It seems to be a large piece of property! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Emily is 100% right and this whole situation. Kobe is not and I have not always been on Emily side. She is correct and if Kobe does not stand up for his woman, then he is going to be single he’ll be back in Cameroon which is not better than America and he won’t be able to see his two kids and it won’t be her fault. He needs to stand up all of a sudden now that they’re in Cameron and the buddies got involved now this marriage isn’t good I wouldn’t let it break me up either I would pack and say we’re going home the next day.

I have to say, when they are talking, they both appear to attempt to hide their smirks. Sorry but this is SUCH a fake storyline. Besides, IF their boy Kobe Wanted a Cameroon wife he would have married one. This is a moot point, his bros have no business in his marriage, just like her friends don't. Why don't they go find their wives and buzz off. This was another stupid conversation. They've already been married with family, this would have happened long before, it's a rewrite of history to give them a storyline.
