Now that I saw the Episode Jane's Affliction I'm now convinced more than ever that the show is set up. Emily hires her friend Jane to keep an eye on her crew mining the gold and Jane is starting drama by not being out there when they're ready to dive. They don't need/want her there and she wants to be there only if the crew texts her ahead of time. Meanwhile Jane is trying to pit Emily against her workers saying that they will be hearing from her. Best outcome under this scenario is for Emily's crew to walk out on her & let Jane do the diving.
Without Darrell, Emily would be sunk. She can’t drive herself and she sucks at recruiting. The only thing going for her is they keep her on the show for the drama. Darrell better get a larger percentage of the gold, than working for other crews because he always puts them on the gold, got a nose for it. He’s the secret to their success without him they get nothing

The show has begun to jump the Shark with portraying the Kelly's as competent or remotely successful the show if funding them while getting rid of other serious miners with dredges.
No one can always be this useless unless they are doing it on purpose. I have know many people like her father who need attention any way possible, even if its just negative attention they can get.

thats the problem with parents like that who cant handle the fact that their kids know more than them. I have the same problem and it ruined our relationship such a lack of respect
