After doctors diagnosed Emily Hampton with Neurofibromatosis Type 1, Rob and Mindi Hampton began researching treatments for their daughter. Doctors in California did not have any options. The couple turned to Riley Hospital for Children and the clinical trial being conducted by Dr. Kent Robertson and Dr. Wade Clapp. The Hamptons now travel 4,000 miles roundtrip so Emily can receive lifesaving care.
