I thought so too. Until every time it was said the exact same way. Almost as if it was written for him and rehearsed. Several celebrities have their own amusing anecdotes that they tell the exact same way on every talk show.

@@HESSIAN578it's similar to when people ask you and your partner how'd you two meet. You tell the story so many times that it'll sound like it's rehearsed because of how smooth you tell the story.

@@redroman4214 Exactly. No, the story wasn't written for him and rehearsed, it's just that he's told it so many times it comes out almost the same way each time. He's also a professional actor, so repeating the same lines over and over comes natural.

Or, she thought "it's funny he calls me "the wife" to another man. If he called me that at home I'd kills him!" Personally, I think it' interesting how men speak to each other differently the there are no women around. And, if you interpret that as her thinking "that's me" I think that's just a bit of projection on your part. I don't know any woman who's been married as long as they have and are raising two children who'd get all adolescent and giggly about being called "the wife". That's a young newlywed woman. And, only some. But, bless ya!
