She reminds me of Meryl Streep in that Streep is easy-going, laughs loudly, down-to-earth, beautiful and probably THE most talented female actor since….since….I don’t know when, maybe since “The French Lieutenant’s Woman”. I think her first film out of Juilliard was with Alan Alda. Anyway, I think Emily Blunt is an excellent actor. Haven’t seen “Oppenheimer” yet!

John Krasinski is one VERY lucky man to be able to share life with Emily Blunt! My goodness she is absolutely mesmerizing and sharp and funny!!!! Just beautiful in every sense of the word!!!

When Emily Blunt is Stephen's guest, all other show segments pale in comparison! These two are so relaxed, delightful and magnetic together, playing off of each other like true BFFs, I could watch them forever! 😍

She is a complete joy to watch. Such a normal person and I just love the conversation between these two guys. So keep it up Stephan and make sure that you invite her often.

She is great on the screen, but as a person she is just so incredible. I was really riveted by the connection with Colbert, but then again she is so magnetic how could you not be close to her.

Emily and John Krasinki are my favorite celebrity couple. She is so charming and classy plus The Office is my favorite network comedy of all time and he’s a talented director. We are the Oppenhomies was priceless. Hopkins advice, don’t move, don’t blink was very telling

This episode with Emily Blunt is another one of those terrific Stephen Colbert interviews that seems so much like a private conversation and the audience is a fly-on-the-wall. AND Stephen Colbert gushes about Anthony Hopkins in "Westworld..." Once again proving him to be a huge frickin' nerd.

Emily is absolutely delightful and I will watch her in any performance. The English is my favorite have seen in 3 times.

Y’know, I do remember reading somewhere that Anthony Hopkins intentionally didn’t blink at all on-camera while playing Hannibal Lecter in The Silence of the Lambs because it gave an extra layer of “uncanny valley” feel to the character. Furthermore, I’ve also read that he actually got diagnosed with autism fairly late in life, and I wonder (I’m on the spectrum myself) if that might have had something to do with him realizing that he does his best when he consciously keeps his whole body under control like that.

Foster Brooks, who made a comedy career out of playing drunk, said the exact same thing Emily Blunt said about playing someone who's smashed. What made Brooks SO funny--and he was side splitting funny--is that the drunk is trying to act like he's perfectly sober. Brook's drunk would be giving a speech at some event where it was wholly inappropriate to be drunk, and he thinks he's pulling it off, but he isn't in any way. There are YT clips of Foster Brooks on Dean Martin Roasts that are hilarious.

Ive seen this horseriding clip and as an experienced equestrian Emily is NOT a better rider than Cillian who unlike Emily, is not used to riding western style but even so his horse was more relaxed and responsive - that combo comes from a competent calm and kind rider. Emilys horse was tense and reactive. Cillian has also demonstrated his riding chops on Peaky Blinders - often handling spirited horses from the ground and riding gypsy style with no saddle.

Maybe cause we won 🔥😆
