The makeup they did for Emily Blunt & Cillian Murphy was convincing in the time periods, the makeup team should get an Oscar IMO, very convincing & believable.

Oppenheimer was phenomenal. Only thing, sorry if controversial, I don't feel like Florence Pugh needed to be nude. I don't normally notice or care about such, but it felt so out of place and unnecessary. Just my humble opinion. Love the film and Florence.

@@michaelsoo4126 I hear you,and I understand that was the intent. Something just felt gratuitous and unnecessary, imho. I wish I could figure out why so that I can explain it. I watch movies and TV shows all the time that include far more than Oppenheimer and they feel as if they are included for a reason. I don't know...

Even if John Krasinski accomplished world peace, his greatest personal accomplishment would still be marrying Emily.

For decades Streep was to me, in a class of her own; Blunt has entered that class! If that makes sense. Whatever she plays in. I am mesmerized watching her face. Genius at acting, just like Streep. And yet so humble and down to earth!

My friend and I both confessed to being really confused for a large part of the film why a) Nolan offered her the role and b) an actress as talented as Emily was playing such a small part. Then we arrived at the deposition scene, and it became completely clear why an actress of her caliber was needed. In a film full of great performances she was right at the top.

I'd agree she really sparkles in that deposition scene. I think part of the reason she seems a bit quieter for chunks of that movie is because you have to remember, all the colour scenes are "objective" in that they tell the story from Oppenheimers point of view. From what I can gather Kitty Oppenheimer had a ton of sass, and was a real firebrand, but it wasn't really ever directed at her husband. She saved it for those who pissed her off, or those who disrespected her husband. Which we see in the deposition scene, or even in the final White House scene, she won't shake Ed Tellers hand. Oppenheimer was willing to let bygones be bygones.... but his wife sure wasn't lol

Even thought Oppenheimer was great, in my opinion The English was her best performance of this year I Can’t wait for Edge of tomorrow sequel, it’s one of my favourite Sci-fi movies

The way i stan this woman. Her talent is so immense and yet shes is just.. delightful. Warm, funny, witty and beautiful. I mean...

I just love Josh Horowitz's style. Such an easy conversationalist, so encouraging and attentive towards the person he is talking with, that just allows dialogue to flow like a tap. (Tap =>Fawcett, Josh)

I love your work, I know it's part of the job, but it can be replaced by another question. One interviewer that I recommend for u as inspiration is Brian Linehan, based on time that you have it can have more research on the person, to actually impress an actor or a director and asks more deep questions. It's not that complicated. Josh and other podcasts like Armchair Expert specialize in long form interviews and have a track record of being good interviews and it makes people want to do their shows. It's not all about clickbait and gotcha moments. Or rushed questions. It's an actual place for people to legit talk.

Really, technical difficulties beyond your control?/ Are you kidding me? This is a site regarding Hollywood, making movies,which incorporates SOUND by professionals. Horowitz cant even admit it is their fault. Of course you have control over sound camera action. You know the best sound people. Even a mediocre sound guy can fix this problem.

Did anyone else absolutely despise her character in the film? She was bitter and rude for no reason. She drained energy from every scene she was in except for the deposition scene.
