the thing that breaks my heart the most about this situation is that alfie literally came back to Paris FOR HER and I bet he would go with her to Chicago if it would make her happy cause all he cared about is how and what Emily feels and if she's happy to and she definitely wanted to stay in Paris for him too and for their relationship to improve yet she obviously chose Gabriel who wouldn't want to go to Chicago with her and she didn't want to stay in Paris for him too and he hurt her so many times and literally always chose his ex over her... LIKE HE ALMOST MARRIED HER... no one will ever convince me that Gabriel loved Emily more than Alfie. but he was the second choice for her and I hate it.

FUCK YES. And Alfie is just a sweetheart and he really opened up this season, Cooper OPEN YOUR EYES💔 i literally cannot stand Gabriel in season 2, he was wheeping around all the time and Alfie is getting better and better they are sooo cute together and healthy and nice and fun:(

Not true. Alfie did not tell Emily he was even in Paris. He protected himself from heartbreak. Camille was the creep. She manipulated Emily with that pact. Sad. Emily loved Gabriel but was a very good friend.

I'm so sorry for him, he deserves so much better. At the beginning of the show I really liked Emily and Gabriel together, but now with all that has happened I can see how problematic and complicated their relationship is. Alfie is such an unproblematic, healthy and loving boyfriend that should never be the second choice.

Once again I'm rooting for the unpopular ship who will break my heart

@@SweetRed1996 I saw it and I was sad but not surprised obviously. They wrote it like this from episode one. I honestly even get why people ship them, they are kinda cute. But the whole cheating thing, the fact that they have always some sort of problem so they can't be really together and above all of these things... Gabriel still was unsure about his feelings between Emily and Camille in s3, after everything that happened...really? It's boring for me, already seen in so many others show. Alfie was always sure of his feeling, did everything he could to make her happy and never caused pain to anyone else with his actions. Emily's story with him is also more realistic for me. So idc, proudly #TeamAlfie.

Alfie is so so so so better looking and cared for her in every way and they had a way better connection. It’s not love with Gabriel it’s lust there is a difference

Rooting for Alfie the moment he was introduced in the show. So much better character than Gabriel (who I personally dislike). I’m a guy who loves this show, and I cannot help it, but feel bad for my guy Alfie. Damn in Cooper.

It's so crazy .... all of season 1 and 2, I wanted Emily to be with Gabriel. But, after watching season 3, I feel like Alfie was the better option. Like sure, Emily and Gabriel have chemistry, but Alfie had something that Gabriel didn't imo. The scene where she starts singing to him really made me believe that she was all about him.

@@Diana-tm4nt true loyalty was a big characteristic - I think one of the major differences between Gabriel and Alfie is that Gabriel doesn't mind when she gushes on and on about work meanwhile Alfie wants work to be sorta done after he's off the clock. Ofc I don't think its a game changer, but only other thing I can think of

uGH this is gorgeous!!! I love them so much and from seeing people's reactions after this season I get the feeling that alfie&emily became the most popular ship on the show, so many people switched from gabriel to alfie and I'm loving it, let's hope writers won't ignore this but I doubt it :(((

Yup I said the same. She let loose with Alfie and have fun. Gabriel is lust to me she should stayed with Alfie but Alfie told her he wants no games so think he's gone and will up with someone else

The ending of season 3 really broke my heart because I truly believe that Emily does love Alfie. I really hope that the writers won’t push for Emily and Gabriel to end up together because that ship has sailed a long time ago

Emily is like Scarlett O’Hara when she chased Ashley Wilkes and waited too long before she realized that she loved Rhett all along. I think Emily will eventually realize that it’s really Alfie, but will it be too late?

I totally agree, it seems like she’s been into Gabriel and he made her suffer the way he did so much that she can’t even notice how happy and peaceful and in love she is with Alfie. Nobody would stay in a country leaving everything behind and singing like she did for someone the don’t even love. Wake up Cooper please!!!

It is such a shame because I really shipped Alfie with Em. I hope that he can find someone to look at him the way Emily looks at Gabriel ...
