I watched this. Emesis Blue was scary, but not in a like monster-ish way. There was just so much suspense in almost every scene that it cast a dark shadow over the whole thing.

Depends on how you define "high". If we talking green like I did, you just kinda forget details. Helps if you wanna rewatch later. 🤷‍♂️ But if we're talking harder substances, you'd probably trigger yourself into a bad trip (panic attacks/hallucinations/paranoia)

​@@trishfick3355if you've seen the ending then you will piece it together. Basically while waiting to respawn they are "stuck" in limbo. For those still alive it's mere moments but time passes differently in limbo, so those mere moments feel like forever for those waiting to respawn.

I watched this movie around 38 times, trying to analyze the story, understanding every part in every aspect of the lore, I have an almost complete mastery of how this movie's lore and how it's supposed to play out all the time skips in time loops I have understanding of

Doc is so calm but inside he has been traumatized like no other even more traumatized than what soldier went through in the film

the part where medic hears his and scouts conversation then muffled screams of scout trying to say "WHY DID YOU KILL HER!" will always fucking traumatize me.

Fun fact: this movie was based off the Stephen King novel " the jaunt" which is about a form of teleportation that requires you to be unconscious to work properly, if you weren't unconscious your mind would perceive the teleportation as spending an eternity in white,most people who come out while conscious say " it's eternity in there" before dying, basically while your body is asleep during the jaunt your mind is awake and it basically drives you nuts

As a spectacular myself, I can confirm.

The movie was an absolute masterpiece. The way they used lighting to make a scary atmosphere, as well as blacked out mercenaries as illusions of themselves from certain points in time is flawless. It's like there's something way deeper in the movie than just people being respawned wrong, but the respawn machine causing more mental damage, hence the hallucinations. I love how it causes me to think of all of this and makes me feel like MatPat trying to solve some hidden lore in this SFM piece of art. Love so much about it that I literally cannot put it into words anymore. If you haven't watched it, I recommend you do, just not at 3AM (optional).

The movie was a masterpiece, and I loved the whole time. Cyclops was alive, but I wish Scout didn’t die so early.

Context (only for respawn machine): In the movie that the same person made emesis blue, he made a movie early then emesis, it was all about spy being robotic, and it all started when spy was angry of everytime he died and respawned, he throwen the disguise at his partner's (blue engi) machine gun, and it bugged, spy tested the disguise again and spy became the machine gun, he was too powerful for the red team and red engi got so mad he used the forbidden crate and grabbed a sledge hammer, went into the control room, and used the sledge to break a machine, exploded a camera with pistol, fleeded the scene when he killed the witnesser (red pyro), what happended next was a horrible battle, but somehow, no one respawned and just spy with his partner battle the red engineer to death. So this rewind the part where red engi destroyed the machine, that machine was actually the respawn machine, and when it was broken, no one was able to respawn and new red team was sent in to investigate, and now this explains why emesis blue was created...

Scout: I swear there was someone walking in my window medic: it’s just someone passing by Scout:doc….I was on the second floor….

For people who dont know: this scene is from an infanous youtube movie named "emesis blue" where characters from a famous game named "tf2" die and respawn in a cycle, but in this movie talks about the respawn machine. Most people say its about how people have to wait 20 seconds to respawn, and it is about a cycle where the tf2 characters are used for evil purposes making them self aware

Actually in Emisis Blue the red team is actually dead, and been dead for a while. They eventually turn into undead zombies. The red Engineer died and became the bartender in purgatory which is the bar itself. Demo survived, but later died in the slaughter house from freezing to death which is a reference to the movie The Shining.

Pretty much my best idea on how the respawn machine works is before your "body" can go to somewhere it forcefully rips you back into living and the malfuction that happens is cause it did it to fast or when you were already somewhere that wasnt your body so the distoritions are more or less the soul existing in 2 places at once slightly

This is tf2's most disturbing and scariest masterpiece

The machine causes mutations which can be held back by the drug, the drug also makes you go crazy though

As I understood it, the respawn machine malfunctioned, and medic had his mind split apart, same with the others, as soldier was looking at himself.

This is what happens when you get more than 20 seconds of respawning

When Medic doesnt wanna tell you something horrible then you REALLY REALLY dont wanna know what it is but jokes aside we NEED a movie of that with real actors and all. Its worth it.
