It's nice to hear Emerson recognizing "no me" as dogma. He is correct to recognize the "no me" talking about "me" all the time is really hard to take. I'm going to meet you guys where you're at and let you know that when you "try to be human" and meet people where they're at, "you" are where they are at. I get no individual self. Beautiful. But what is love and compassion without One Divine Self? I get how no Self can kind of make sense conceptually... Emerson said Self, no Self, ..who cares! And maybe he's kind of "right". ... but "who cares" implies a Who, and Caring. The contradiction of I know there is no I and no knowing drives me bonkers. Saying there is nothing to say and being known as a speaker.. 🤔

❤ This will be the most brilliant DOIBLE BARREL. IMO the two top Nondual folks. Clear and compassionate. I can’t wait for more collaborations from this two.

Emerson seems have matured if I may be so bold....

Am i the only one who is seeing that Angello in a very subtle way points kindly again and again towards that the relative is the absolute to help Emerson acknowledge that further? One potential backside with people who are more towards the radical non dual side is that they are not flexible enough to meet people on the relative spectrum enough, hence why some people start to teach to early before their realisation has matured enough, just my take on it ❤ / A traditional zen buddhist.

Please come to Canada, Angelo!! I could pull in a good 5-10 people. I was 1000% ready to go to your latest retreat when I read “Art of Living Centre”, because there’s an international center in Quebec… but then I realized that there are A FEW big centers in North America 😅

A day or two before this video dropped, I subscribed to Emerson's channel after watching Josh "the walking red pill" Putnam's interview of Emerson (my mind 🤯), then I looked through Angelo's "Awakening Stories" playlist, thinking that Angelo had interviewed Emerson before & was somewhat surprised that he hadn't. Now this video appears. The universe is telling me something-or Angelo, but they are one & the same (& me too for that matter). 🙂

Angelo, sorry, I dont get it. When he (and maybe you) and a lot of other modern non-duality guys said “i have no interest in spirituality anymore” and stuck in this “finality stages”, while others monks and masters and just ordinary practitioners just continue to unfold everytime and unpack futher tangles of perception like mahamudra/dzogchen, zen, even in Theravada. Or even AtR guys, some of they just realised waaaay more of this modern youtubers, but continue and continue to sit and unfold. Dalai Lama continue to practice even after realise two fold emptiness (its even deeper then anatta). Maybe its just a stream entry? Can this certainty of “no me, why practice?” Its just a golden chains? Or you (the stream of mind) still unpacking conditions but in different ways, more like effortless?

This is a great question! Its both and neither, When they dont have any intrest in spirituality, it just means that they have camed to a point where the seeker has disappeared, wich it self is just a conditioning of the mind, its really not the end, its only the beginning in a way, even though it is an end of misconceving the mind to be your identity. But the People you are refering to are just expressing their own true nature past realisation in an spiritual context and going further on that path... Even though its the same for everyone after a shift we all find ourselves in diffrent circumstances... 😊❤️

What do you call what can’t be talk about ?…a shift?…self realization?…first awakening?….all of the above

You just call it the "first attempt" or something of the like. Evolution involving occasional mistakes but that's ok... cause we all get there in the end :)

At 24 this body gave up, turned the bucket over and dumped it all in a dumpster, baby and all. The baby and the villian. One was good, one was bad but both were seemingly "threw away" At least that is what my mother saw. She said "you threw away your life a long time ago" I did, lots of ways, it was ugly. Something in Here knew symbolically at least what I did was necessary in my unconscious seeking. I was innocent, mother was innocent, Brother said "how can you live with yourself?" ha ha ha ha. They have all passed now. All of them, all brothers, sisters, parents, didn't have children. At 44 something broke so much I could barely stand up, overwhelming physical pain (decades), learned Reiki, 30 days later zero pain and went skydiving to celebrate. At 64 having ended 40 years of addiction to alcohol, opiates and nicotine and saved this life from copd which felt like a fear festival for a party of one. No one believed me especially doctors even with the charts written in English in front of their face. It didn't happen. None of it, to no one. Here. Now. Breathe.

Ok first i just want to say i love this but i have a burning question. Now i don’t resonate with the idea that there is no person so there is no need to do anything and that whole concept, but what does he mean when he mentions resting in awareness or being aware of awareness almost as if its a pitfall because i know that’s not like a lazy way out or tricking yourself that that’s the endgame by any means, but is it not the same thing as just being or allowing what is in the I AM state to unfold naturally? I’m perplexed 🧐

Another non duality teacher on KZread? Seems to be all the craze.

Yet another commenter says the exact opposite, stating that Angelo & Emerson are "both lovers of relative reality". 🤔 I'm not "awakened" so what do I know, but this seems to say more about each & every commenter than about Emerson himself. In any case, it's always beneficial to hear a variety of takes rather than being siloed into one's preferred way of thinking.
