I've seen burns like that up close before it ain't pretty. It was a friend of mine his care blew up when we were youger. He didn't make it . His name was max. He was a good and funny friend all around.

@@joc_tamai yeah it is. I taught my self field medicine when he was still alive and my old group of friends didn't dissipate. We used to get into flights a lot with a group of rape and sexual harassment loving jerk's. I always patched them up. With max I tried hard to keep the burns from causing serious problems and the piece of metal through his chest and keep him awake. He died in my arms while I was trying to save him. I still get nightmares most of the from what I saw words can't explain how bad his injuries were.

@@hardwirecars Here in Sweden a truck went of the road and the driver had a trainee with him. The driver gort stuck and the truck caught fire. And in pure mercy he had to beat thge driver to death (the driver begged hin for it) so he wouldn'ät have to die in the flames.

This episode and the first of season 8 showed exactly why firefighters are the heroes among heroes, they put themselves in major danger to save innocent and helpless workers, this happens in real life daily, God bless our first responders

The way they refuse to leave each other behind..... I know it gives Boden ulcers but man, he has to be proud of them

2 Things i want to mention in this Rescue : 1 . I loved the Chief Boden Said to Brett and Foster " Suit Up " when they should go inside the Fire . It kinda gave me Power Rangers Vibes 2. i loved how Hermann said to Ritter that he should go and get save and he refused to Go and stayed to help .

Remember the movie Backdraft where they said "you go, we go" when a fellow firefighter was about to fall trough a hole in the floor. And later at the end when the arsonist who were a firefighter (he killed people making budget cuts for the fire departments for their own gain) where about to fall in a chemical fire.

One of the few shows that gets the SOUND of fire right. Fire is LOUD. STUPID LOUD.

These cliffhangers tho. DAMN!!!!!

Its sad when your a medic and seeing someone die but its even sadder when a firefighter see someone die moments after you saved them and knowing that you can't do much and have to move on

As much as I hate saying it. If they can't get those remaining people out from behind that trapped door then they have to leave them. Its one of the worst calls to make (especially knowing they are alive) but you cannot put yourself, your team and all the other victims whom you are able to reach in any more danger when a boiler is seconds away from exploding. It's basically a situation where you decide a priority and their priority is the people they are able to save.

51 will never be the same if Ritter dies. All 3 of these cliffhangers tonight had me screaming omggggg 😩😩

One wonders why that mattress factory was never condemned over fire codes in the first place. Also, considering everything, an aggressive interior attack of a fully involved basement (especially with a boiler that is on the verge of a BLEVE) is a terrible idea. And that is not mentioning the horrific visibility from all the smoke (not shown).

Some remember it. Some forget due to pain, panic, etc. Some forget due to general memory loss. Additionally, companies that are sketch on safety policies (if I recall in another episode, this company "did their best to meet bare minimum safety standards", which, talk about the bar being on the floor), aren't gonna be front and center with their periodical safety reminders, emergency training, and practice evacs.

I CANT BELIEVE WE HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL SEPTEMBER FOR THE NEW SEASON OMG THIS IS TORTURE😭😭 Also, for people from the UK, you can watch full episodes on ‘Putlocker’ I have been watching it on there since I’m from the UK myself. 🇬🇧 and yes, this was the actual ending of the season finale😩 so we have to wait until September for the new season. :((

Yep. People crowding actually makes it harder to get through/out, slowing the evac. Had the crowd lined up slowly and gone one-by-one, they would've evacuated faster than them all crowding at the ladder and pushing each other around to be the first one out.
