Okay so here's the time line, right now: 1983, The Rebuild Party won the election for UK, now that they won, they finally planned to have Britain to go back to it's former glory. Two weeks after that, Britain invaded Argentina, killed the government and the president and turning it into British Argentina. Somewhere between 1983 and 1984. Britain invaded Irlend and is now is a British colony. I guessed in 1984 or 1985. US, members of NATO and UN are now trying to limit Britain power before Britain invaded more countries and start a new world order. Somewhere between 1984 - 1989, the citizen probably had enough with the government or found out the corruption. So They rebelled against the rebuild part, which caused Britain to executes many people who wanted to rebel against rebuild party. This is just my thinking of how the rebuild timeline. I'm liking how this isn't a typical "oh America is being funky/ some wierd shit is happening with Russia/Germany" universal setting and instead sees an unlikely third power rise up to threaten the original two. looking forward to seeing the rest of Europe's /USSR's response

Plot twist: the Rebuild Party was a Soviet plan gone horribly right. Rebuild was meant to be a communist party that would put the UK squarely in the Warsaw Pact and eliminate NATO's so-called "unsinkable aircraft carrier". Instead, the party went fascist instead of communist, and the KGB accidentally created an English-speaking, island-based Nazi Germany with a bigger, more capable navy and, of course, nuclear weapons, both of which Hitler could only dream of. In other words, the Cold War has gone from capitalism vs. communism, to Britain vs. the rest of the world.

The Rebuild Party: Big trouble in a small package.

Finally we get to see what some outsiders reactions are to the Rebuild party's actions. Honestly I'm surprised Margaret is still alive, considering how the Rebuild party is always talking about "restoring Britian's glory" and the fact that Britian lost the Falklands war being their prime example as why Britian needs to "reclaim glory". I thought she would've been shot long ago due to her failing to win the Falkland war; especially because as we see in the Rebellion EAS; the rebuild party has no problem gunning down British civilians who were simply protesting (though it is possible that this EAS took place before the protests and subsequent shootings that happend in the Rebellion EAS meaning the Rebuild party could still be trying to keep up the facade of democracy in the UK).

@@grimmylane7590 That was in a different timeline, The Brighton Hotel bombing EAS took place in 1984 and Margaret was still prime minster in that timeline (meaning the 1983 elections went as OTL with a conservative victory) also a member of the IRA did the bombing. Meanwhile in the Rebuild party series, the Rebuild party won the 1983's election and thus Margaret is no longer PM as well as how Ireland is now just a British colony again after being invaded by the Rebuild party rather than being free like in the Brighton Hotel bombing EAS.

This takes place after the rebellion video so I’m guessing President Reagan saw the horrendous actions the Rebuild Party were doing to their own citizens and decided to call action or this COULD take place WHILE Rebuild Party slaughters its citizens.

@@davidhortelano3354 that EAS scenario is based on an actual event. PM Thatcher did ALMOST get assassinated by the IRA but she was lucky. In this timeline, the Irish Republican Army has fallen to the Rebuild Party.

@@ItsTheRemixaa Are you sure? They initially signed a non-aggression pact with Nazi Germany and agreed to a partition of Poland. I think they were initially Axis-aligned until the Nazis began to invade the Soviet Union.

I appreciate that you took the time to expand upon this and show an American perspective. It is interesting to me that the USSR or the PRC was not explicitly mentioned other than, "world powers", as it suggests that the United States has not yet jumped to an, "enemy of my enemy" situation. By the way, are you planning on doing a Soviet perspective yet?

It's not really emergency alerts. More like government broadcasts and classified tapes.

I would expect that the Rebuild Party would likely hold hostilities towards the Soviet Union if the Soviets still support Argentina in the Rebuild Timeline. What I mean is that during the Falklands War, the Soviets expressed their support towards Argentina and provided them with weapons. It went no further than that.

Rebuild invading Taiwan seems incredibly unlikely. The PRC might not have been as militarily powerful or advanced in the 80s, but there's no way in hell that they would allow the British to conquer what they consider a rightful part of their own nation. And I don't care how well trained or motivated they are - the British in the 80s simply don't have the means to fight China, not even close, especially not if they also need to have a bunch of soldiers tied up occupying Ireland and Argentina. I'd be very surprised if they could so much as stop the Chinese from taking Hong Kong. To be perfectly honest, the fact that the USA hasn't *already* stopped their expansion (either through threatening war if they don't back down or just flat-out military intervention) is pretty unrealistic. France and Germany would also be extremely negative towards a revanchist Britain and would be preparing for war. I know Rebuild's conquests and a lack of external intervention are necessary for the story to work, but I felt like I should state my opinion about them.

And here's the thing. No matter how much military spending has been increased for the rebuild party they won't win a war against NATO or the U.S for that matter, the U.S navy surpasses anything the British would have at the time. It has a better airforce in general with prime examples being the F-15 and F-16. The latter of which would be entering service by now. Not even to mention that the U.S army would have generally better equipment than their British counterparts with the most important fact, in my opinion, is that the U.S can directly strike Britain from places such as Germany and France along with other NATO allies.

I believe in this time line, the British Empire still has the following territories they still kept on. Saint Kittis and Nevis (possibly), Brunei, Hong Kong, Australia, and New Zealand.

Harvester, can it be said that the Rebuild Party is similar to the INGSOC in the 1984 novel? Come on, I continued with the story is very good, greetings from British Argentina :)

I can see this being how Rebuild falls. Ireland and Argentina are targets that while world leaders would like to help, know that directly engaging with the conflict could easily escalate, and that would be dangerous. Attacking the US, however, well, it's unlikely the world takes that sitting down.

Considering how the Rebuild part is about "restoring Britian to its former glory" I can't imagine them killing off the royal family due to them being an essential part of British history, so either they are figureheads for the party used in propaganda or (best case scenario) the USA manages to evacuate Margaret Thatcher and the Royal family and set up a exile government in either US or Canada sometime after this EAS takes place.
