Emerald Hill Zone - Sonic The Hedgehog 2 REMIX [NoteBlock]
Happy Week of NoteBlock! WoNB is the yearly celebration of my channel's anniversary in which I stretch myself as thin as possible to create 7 remixes for each day leading up to April 14th, which will be the NoteBlock channel's 8th birthday! To start things off, we're gonna speed right into the week in a blue blur! Just in time for the Sonic 2 movie, too. Very excited to go see it with Anissa! To reflect the cinematic nature of the film, I wanted to try and combine a lot of orchestral/movie score elements into my usual EDM/drum & bass style. dang just listened to this be4 the movie, feels nostalgic how we came from a 2D pixel game to a whole movie, but here we are with a 2nd movie! I should say that this is 1 of the best days ever for sonic

What the hell are you even saying? Sonic WAS INTENDED to be as popular to compete with Mario, and by the time Sonic 2 was released, Sonic was already popular, especially in Japan. You use the word "nostalgic" yet I'm pretty sure you're just a kid if you call the Classic Sonic games "2D pixel".

I know I haven’t heard the FNF mod medley yet, but come on. This is the song that needed to start Week of Noteblock. Even the original is so triumphant and celebratory sounding. This is honestly rising in the ranks of my favorite Noteblock remixes already.
