Thank you! I do hope that this helps!
Thank you so much for posting this. I was having a hard time trying to figure out how I was suppose to hoop small sized sleeves into the smallest hoop I have but this is so much easier and makes the most sense.

Thank you so much for showing the entire process, to include the pinning on. I had no idea I could do this on a single needle machine. Your tutorial was sooooo helpful!

@@SouthernAudacity Did it! Of course they had a fight on Valentine's Day. But the hoodies embroidered on the left sleeve of each one came out great.

Nice👏🏽👏🏽I was looking for something just like this for a project my daughter gave me for valentines 🫰🏽💕
You made a fantastic job of that. I'd never have thought you could have embroidered on a sleeve like that without undoing the seam.

The shirt looks good. Sometimes simple is better.
Happy New Year to you and family. My nerves was on pins and needles. i know im going to always take the easy way. by opening up the seam and stitching it back, lol Beautiful design..

Happy New Year to you!!! I know what you mean. Opening does eliminate having to pin and tuck...I just worry about not stitching it back up evenly...lol
You did a good job!!

This method is the future.
Thank you for sharing this! I was wondering if it could be done on the sleeve without ripping out the seam. I do this process of floating for the front of sweatshirts… it was good to see it could be done on the sleeve! Thanks again 😊
Thank you SO MUCH for making this video! This was a challenge, but I was able to do a sweatshirt for my daughter with her son's date of birth on there. It was a challenge, but I feel accomplished now! Have I said THANK YOU!!??

Good 👍🏾
Your awesome I love how you float, using pins and no spray. I’d rather float this way, new to this. I stick my fingers all time it’s what thimbles was designed for grandma always said😀

this is great!! I'm having a hard time pinning my sleeve down and keeping the opening at the same time. The first one I did caught in my sleeve, I'm going to do my second attempt now. I didn't know about the inside out trick, hopefully that helps! 😪
@SouthernAudacity
6 ай бұрын
Oh Yes, try it inside out. Let me know if it worked.
❤
I had a large design I wanted on my 4 yr old GD's shirt & it wouldn't fit on the 10x12 hoop I had to use. I cut the side seam and it fit easily. I sewed the seam back with an overcast stitch on my regular sewing machine. It would have been easier if I had a serger!
❤❤ ❤
It turned out beautifully! What machine are you using here?

Brother VE 2200- it's an older model and no longer being sold, but they have newer versions
This is a great video, but visually very hard with a dark grey sweater.

What stabilizer do you use? :)
@SouthernAudacity
2 жыл бұрын
For this, I use a Classic cutaway stabilizer that I get from AllStitch.
How did this look after laundering? Was the stabilizer a little to stiff for this fabric?
@SouthernAudacity
6 ай бұрын
It has held up pretty well. Maybe it's because I use liquid fabric softener in my wash, but the stabilizer is noticeable, but not irritatingly stiff. But the design also is not stretched out.
I need to know how you hooped it?
@SouthernAudacity
Жыл бұрын
Technically it's not hooped. It is floated on top and secured in place using straight pins. Only the stabilizer is hooped.
Do you have the Pathfinder?
@SouthernAudacity

No, This machine is the Brother VE2200 aka Dreammaker. It's discontinued, but still runs good
