My mother mostly crocheted but a few times when I was small she did some beautiful embroidery including embellishing a dress she made for me for my 10th birthday. I have tried a few times but didn’t really know what I was doing so wasn’t happy with the results. I’ve ordered the kits and with the help of these videos and the instruction cards I’m looking forward to trying it again. Thank you so much MSQC for the inspiration!

I use to jazz up my clothes with embroidery. It is how I refined my hand sewing. I didn’t see a link to a channel for embroidery 101.

Thanks Natalie. I have seen this one before but I don't think I have ever used it. It does look like a crochet chain.

Brand new to this but very excited! I have a Question, How many strands of thread do you use on this? I know you separate 6 threads but when do you use 2,3,or even all 6? Does it depend which stitch you are doing? Thanks
