i worked there in downsview. the dash 8 is really crash 8...lol the 195 is way better and more efficient as a turbo fan engined aircraft

We brazilians *produce* them, needless to say, ERJ and Legacy family is a great brazilian achievment and sucess all over the world. *By thr way, thanks for the compliment, no doubt ERJ 190, 195 , E2 and so on, are wonderful, confortable and very dependable machines!*

Trabalhei na Embraer de 1980 até 1986. Na época fabricava o Bandeirante e estava iniciando aos teste com o Brasília e o caça AMX. Uma vez, fazendo um estágio em São Paulo, um dos outros estagiários, ao saber onde eu trabalhava fez uma piadinha dizendo que os Estados Unidos estavam importando muitos aviões da Embraer. Era para os estúdios Warner porque iam fazer um filme de guerra em que muitos aviões seriam derrubados. Queria vê-lo hoje e saber o que ele teria a dizer.

my heart was in my mouth the whole flight .. that aero is unbelievable .. more like a fighter jet than an airliner .Thye EMBRAERS factories are just down the road from my home in Alvito Portugal.

I think I had this pilot the last time I flew into Jacksonville.

Ha ha. I remember as a child in early 90s flying on MD83s [UK] and all take offs on those were like this 😂. Maybe because the engines were in the tail.

This company has been making airplanes my entire aviation career. I'm not in airlines so no first hand, but I watch the industry. Looks to me like they make good airplanes.

Embraer once again proves it is up front with all the Major big Airline Manufacturers in producing a Impressive Big airliner. Smooth Aerial Bally for such a Biggy.

I recently flew on the Embraer 195 E2, a very quiet and comfortable, impressive aircraft.

What an elegant and beautiful airplane, love it! I am so happy for them they won that KLM order, they really needed it!

Essa aeronave parece uma águia voando! Linda! This aircraft looks like an eagle! Beautiful!

First time i took a flight in one embraer i got really amazed with stability and confort in flight.

I don't believe I've ever seen a commercial airliner that is so maneuverable

Exactly. This event is meant to draw interest from potential buyers who care about efficiency, better fuel consumption and thus profit. Later they can advertise to the public that better fuel efficiency = less pollution

I love yokes, feels like you have more control! But the sidestick is easier to butter with. But hey, I still want the 757 to live forever.

Nah, instead of some "new" airplane that was actually mainly designed e 60s, the E2 has full fly-by-wire with much the same flight envelope protections as any Airbus from the 80s. Doesn't mean they weren't turned off here, but I doubt they were.

Brian Gourdie yeah but I’m sure that wasn’t the main reason. Embraer is biting a big portion of the market. Off course would never be as big as Boeing, but for a medium size company they are doing pretty good.

Embraer has delivered 1,501 of these and has 359 on Order as of March 31st

Em breve todos esses aviões terão o nome e prefixo Boeing, conforme ocorreu quando a Boeing engoliu a McDonnell Douglas. O MD-95 virou Boeing 717, e logo foi retirado de linha. Entenda: a Boeing, a preço de banana, abocanhou tecnologia e acabou com a rival Embraer. A nós restou vender abacates.

This plane is doing maneuvers reserved mostly for fighter jets. Amazing. Elegant , graceful, majestic, and safe.

Any airliner can do maneuvers like that at an airshow because they have almost no payload and very little fuel, just enough to do the demo and land. I dare even the best pilot to load it up to full payload and fuel and try those stunts!! It's probably 60,000 pounds or so lighter than a normal flight with passengers and filled with fuel.

Nope. Every modern civil plane can perform same maneuvers as long as plane is empty, low on fuel, and equipped with FBW fly by wire controls ! ...even B52's used to perform such strong ressources in the 90's. ...and comparing jet fighters with airliners has no point...

@@baguette7535 Almost 100% chance they're running a custom flight software program for this... Any ordinary computer would definitely override the pilots input at the AOA/roll and speed shown here.

just turn the stall warnings off and you can do whatever you want. No pusher, no shaker! 90 degrees of bank can hold any jet if you know how to do it.

the outside is Beautiful The interior is as Pretty I saw it in the Embraer’s Brochure in 2017 from E2 Family in Brazil, (that was a Narrow-Body E190-E2 The only difference between the E190 and E195 basically the E195 has more seats and the wingspan is greater by 1.4 m and range is extended to 830km) the range on this plane is around 4,800km I can hardly believe this plane has been around since 2017 they started the E195-E2 program in 2016 and I still haven't had the chance to be a passenger on it Beautiful video.

I think E190-E2 has much longer range than the E175-E2 and E195-E2.

Karlos Sargeant I bet most American airline will order it as a replacement to older Embraer aircraft as they probably have the same type rating allowing pilots to switch seamlessly from the old model to the new model.

Nope. The 757 carries between 180 and 270 passengers. The E2 is much smaller, carrying between 80 and 144 passengers. Also, the 757 is a projet from the late 70´s to replace the 727 but the E Jets were developed from 2011 on, with extensive utilization of composite materials, besides the glass cockpit, absent in the original 757

wow beautiful airplane... something about that simple straight forward tail does it for me..

Flew on an E-170 from Ohio to New York, after getting of an aging MD-80, the Embraer was so comfortable, seats were so big and there was actual leg room.

Well how good the seats are and how much room there is depends on the airline's order. An aging MD could have easily has the same good seats and leg room but the airline ordered it that way.

TK Boeing 757-300 Driver Boeing had earlier models that didn’t start with a 7 or follow the 7x7 pattern.
