Thank you, as I was out of ways to make my heirloom quilt more interesting. I will try the honeycomb effect using cotton batiste and the #60 weight pink threads for a new block! 😊

Thanks, I've been looking at fabric manipulation & pleating videos, I'm going to have to try heat/water soluble thread for the tucks and using the technique as a boiled 3D shibori.

You still be able to do this technique as you should have a zigzag on the machine. Fingers crossed for you.
