We Were Here... I started with my brother and he bailed after the first level. A year later I just completed it with a stranger from discord in less than an hour without trying 😮

In my eyes, a platinum is a platinum. Each one tells a different story, whether it be embarrassing or impressive. A year later I appear to have sparked a full argument, anyways each plat represents a certain experience. End lol.

Subnautica is really satisfying to finish but at the same time it was one of those games where I was sad after finishing it, because of how great it was great it was for me. It’s also easy to platinum I know it can be really confusing because it doesn’t tell you where to go. You have to stumble upon the cave yourself then find out how to go deeper into the cave. Great but confusing

Telltale games are anything but embarrassing to have on a trophy list cause they are great games. You played it for 2 reasons, a great story and an easy platnium. Shovelware platinums, however have nothing great about them, other than a easy platinum. I'll never earn a shovelware platinum, (other than my name is mayo) cause they look awful and I ain't having that on my list.

I'm not embarrassed by the ones like Telltale games or Edith Finch where you just have to finish the game. The only two platinums I'm kind of embarrassed by are "Lizard Lady vs the Cats" and "Lady in a Leotard with a Gun." They're the only shovelware games I've played but they were somewhat entertaining for $0.24 games

The only shovelware gsme I have is Specterwoods and I'm nit even embarrassed about it, my friend and I like to joke that it's our "hardest" or our "proudest" platinum and that's enough

It always makes me sad when people miss out on subnautica for the sake of an easy plat😢, legit one of my top five favorite games of all time.

@@SANDREZZ I'd say it's more forgiving then most survival games. But it definitely does take a while to get going, for those that stick around it's honestly just so memorable hey. I should add the platinum I'm most ashamed of I think is foreclosed. Horrible game with no redeeming qualities, I played it simply because I wanted a quick and easy platinum off extra and yeah I regret it now 😂

@@SANDREZZ I suppose, but the whole point of the game is to explore and figure it out, you get clues of where to go and more lore, the more you explore, You get it through scanning things, the pda's and data terminals. I played it completley blind on my first run and didn't get stuck that often, when you do get stuck, you can often find a clue in your Pda, if you cant then its a sign to explore a new area, or further then you have been before. If you dont enjoy exploring or reading then its not the game for you, but it's truly a beautiful and a really memorable experience in my opinion.

My Name Is Mayo is a must have for any trophy hunter, I’m not embarrassed by them at all! They’re like an inside joke, almost like a Wilhelm Scream of platinum trophies!

See to me these platinums are a tell that this person is human and does not always have the time or patience to go for 30-100 hour or more. As long as there isn't a spam amount of them.

I love trophies. To check out some profile and notice that you both have a plat in some hard af game is like meeting a brother in arms 😄

The plat trophies I have are of games I grew close to over years. My favorite one being Okami where I would make new guest accounts just to get the plat again. I even got all the steam achievements when it came to pc. I don't think I even had a plat I was ashamed of but then again I never really played for that many plat trophies.

Most Embarassing Platinum is for me NieR Automata. It's a masterpiece, but i din't want to do all the grind...so i used the secret merchant

Thats why i appreciate the final season of the walking dead. it actually had trophies that required you explore more and look around like "get all collectibles in episode 2"

I guess mine would be Hallow Knight because of the invisibility glitch, but honestly, I just wanted to see the (true?) ending and final boss. I did literally everything else legit. Might be the most fun I’ve had with a very difficult game

The Subnautica games are my favourite games ever! Both original and Below Zero, and I'm so proud of those Plats because I got them the hard and honest way. I can't remember it being insanely difficult either, but so scary. Can't wait for the next one. Kena: Bridge of Spirits on the other hand… I might have to look up that exploit. I struggled on normal difficulty.

My very first platinum trophy was on Call of the Sea. It made me fall in love with grinding to unlock achievements and trophies, bc the trophies you could get on there were like cute collectibles. I really loved that game

My two easiest triple A game platinums were spiderman 2018 & spiderman miles morales. The games arent that long and are great Playstation titles that dont feel like a chore to 100%. Excited to platinum Spiderman 2 this year

I achievement hunt on steam and the most embarrassing title on my "Perfect Games" list is the Resident Evil Village DEMO. The demo had achievements for some reason that acted as a timer counting up to 1 hour. When you hit an hour you had all the achivements and couldn't play any longer. But now it's just forever on my list.

Eevivivi Hey it depends on whether you have anything against it, but you could remove the game and its achievements with Steam Achievement Manager. If it was an accident I don't see much wrong with it.

I have u one you’re not expecting, Infamous 1. Yep, that game from the PS3, played it since 2009 and it was till 2023 I got the platinum but not in a legit way. All I was missing was one trophy and that was the one you have to collect all 350 shards. I literally just used someone else’s save data. The save had 349/350 shards and the missing shard was literally some blocks away from my position. After +10 years I finally got the platinum.

My most embarrassing is probably quick mafs to be honest. It literally takes like 1 minute to complete 😭 you just have to write some numbers and press some buttons. Sometimes the addicting feeling to get a new platinum to your collection just gets you lmao

my most embarrasing achievement was playing the bioshock 1 main story on easy and changing it to the hardest difficulty right before the boss fight, somehow that counts as completin the game on the hardest difficulty I did it because i originally completed it on the hardest on xbox and when i started completing games i wanted to do it on pc but was too lazy and i needed that buzz that u get when u complete a game

XD the only Plats I have are from the My Name is Mayo games, although I'm fairly close for KH2 on the 1.5+2.5 remix, in that I think I just need the Journal completions including Mushroom 13

I play on Xbox where the main difference is gamerscore compared to trophies but the contrast in achievements is insane. Road 96 took me 5 or 6 hours to beat and I got 1000gamerscore without having to go out of my way to get achievements and then there’s games like mgsv that took me 300 hours…

Bloodborne didn't take me quite as long as Dark Souls 3 did (farming the silver knights for concords was pain) but the Cursed and Defiled Amygdala drove me and my friends trying to help me completely insane for a 5 hour session until we finally beat it. Other than that though, Bloodborne's platinum was kinda easy.

I think I ended up getting the achievement by accident on my second playthrough just due to how proficient I became with titanfall 2 movement by that point. The one that took me more time and effort was either Power Slide, or I Know Kung Fu. Those two were annoying to get

@The Decent Gamer I'm not taking anything from anyone lol. Some people find things easier or harder depending on games but getting a platinum is still getting a platinum. My hardest platinum was CTR Nitro Fueled, because some of those trophies are truly painful but some people may find it easier or even harder than I did.

I do have some easy platinum trophies like Super Weekend Mode, but I have PS Vita trophies that took effort like Freedom Wars, Killzone Mercenary, Rayman Legends, Battle of Z, and Ragnarok Odyssey Ace. I'm mainly going for online trophies on the PS Vita for the time being.

I have an embarrassing Platinum, there was this one puzzle game and it was the easiest one to get but it wasn't worth it at all lol. Had some from some visual novels and while those one's aren't impressive either they were at least fun to read/play. Good video though.

I've got 17 platinum trophies and for sure I feel very ashamed about my Hollow Knight platinum trophy. I mean, I have beated the entire main story with no cheats, but when I noticed that to achieve the platinum trophy you had to beat every game boss insequence, wich if I did a perfect run it would take me 40min straight and obviously I would take hours and hours to be able to do this run, I gave up and did a glitch that makes you unvulnerable

Mine is Iro Hero, it’s like a space raider type game. Got the plat in 30 odd minutes. Didn’t even have to complete the game. It was in my early days when I really wanted more and more plats and I learnt quality over quantity

My most embarrassing platinum is when I got the PS5 version of miles morales platinumed after I already got done with the first, it just looks stupid going through my list of trophies to see the same game twice.

Rn i'm getting ghostwire tokyo platinum and i'm really enjoing it even if it is easy. I actually wouldn't say i have an embarrasing platinum (Except for krunker that literally requires you to just open the game) i enjoyed them all and even if they were really easy like Abzu, Sludge life, Darksiders genesis, etc... I just enjoy playing games and love getting achievements

I'm not ashamed at my self but more a funny story to look back on. Maneater was the easyest play (besides a telltale) i've gotten, it's even funnier that it was by accident (basically just complete story, get all collectibles, and bet all shark hunters, which was easy for someone with OCD) and I was totally confused and sad since it was my first and last play through

I got ruined by the bugged out protest mission in the 2nd area and after beating maneater 3 times 100% finally got the platinum. For me it wasn't cheesy it was dedication lmao

My most embarrassing trophy would be Dragon Ball Z Kakarot (PS5) I accidentally pulled my save from the PS4 version and got the plat in 1 second. Not only is it my fastest, it is also my 75th plat. I knew what it would do, I was just excited to play the game and get the plat again.

Yeah i have slyde and regret it, wish i could delete it but i guess it shows our trophy hunting journey when you look back on it.

I've always found when I get a few hard plat you can kinda get one of the easy ones to reward yourself every now and then

I guess for me it would be bunny raiders because I only have 3 and this one is the worst. It looks weird alongside Spider-Man and Cuphead

I've got Slyde and all 3 mayo games as well hahaha To be fair my little boy did the mayo games for me to help him feel involved, but slyde was all on me lolol

I dont really have one I´m not proud of, but one of my proudest ones was the crash bandicoot trilogy and the fourth one. All of the AC games except for odyssey as I´m currently beating on Nightmare mode. After that I´m going for Cuphead and hollow knight

I’m one of those people who wasn’t fortunate enough to exploit Kena, I didn’t think I could beat the game on the highest difficulty but after so many deaths and patience I eventually finished the game and earned the plat

Right now I only have one, that being infamous second son. It's a pretty easy platinum imho, but I love infamous and have gotten screwed over by glitches in previous games I've tried to platinum.

3:28 I still remember beating it on master mode 2 years ago. It took me nearly 6 months of constant grinding. The glitch would have made things a lot easier.

I don't have a most embarrassing one but I am most proud of my Skyrim platinum. It's not even that hard but I've played the game on and off for nearly 12 years and never had it until recently. Going for The Witcher 3 soon and once I get that, it'll be my most proud.

@@knifesketball I love trophy hunting personally, I don't care THAT much about it as I only have 11 plats and dont even play on ps4 anymore, switched to PC... but I can say that exploits are super nice for massively grindy achievements, where you really dont want to have 200+ hours play time in a game and just wanna take ur plat n be done, but they're also nice when you can use them to circumvent bugged trophies.

Agree with this 100% I some ratalaika games some jumping games and then games like vanquish, Bloodborne, sekiro, cuphead and the Witcher 3 also on my list, a plat is a plat if you willing to spend time and money for it then it's your wish

My most embarrassing plat was probably Midnight Deluxe. It's a fun little game, but I'd be lying if I said I played it for any reason other than the super easy platinum. I also didn't play it further after getting the plat, which makes it even more embarrassing.

I haven't actually got any platinum trophies yet but I am planning to finally go out and complete my favorite game that I have replayed almost to death but I feel like it has at least a few more runs left in it.

My most embarrassing platinum is beast quest, i remember loving the book series but the game was buggy and didnt feel fun to play

I only platinum games a loved and adore, as a way of appreciating the games even more

I’ve been at 20 Plats for the longest because my 20th was The Last of Us and I want the next one to be The Last of Us Part 2 but the Grounded permadeath is tuff, I don’t want any more Platinums until I get that one so I’ve put every other game coming out or that I want to play on a hold waiting list 😂.

There's a way around it, TLoU2 was my first Platinum on my ps5 🙌

This is the trophy hunter equivalent of first world problems like I have a bunch of incomplete platinums or games I didn’t like that I have six trophies in I wish I could delete.

It's on Xbox instead of PlayStation, but Call of Duty: World at War. I got all the campaign achievements except for Grave Robber, Throw a Six and a half, and the levels on veteran difficulty after the holdout in the Japanese courtyard, where Roebuck can die. And then, while I was grinding out the Zombie achievements, I ended up in a modded lobby and got _everything_ unlocked for me. I'm pretty sure I'm still missing a card in one of the levels, but I've gone back and completed the whole game on veteran since then.

I bought weben blocks because my gf likes to play this on her phone. Unfortunately this platinum took less than 5 min or something. The highest target for platinum was ridiculously low. 😅 kinda silly plat to have.

One platinum that I would like to delete would be the Wolfenstein 2 plat. I managed to cheat Mein Leben by downloading an online save file that puts you at the end. I felt that it was an unethical trophy since permadeath trophies are unfair in my opinion. I’ll be proud of the plat if I get a successful Mein Leben run in, in which I nearly reached the courthouse.

Mine is a steam completed game, the original release of skyrim allowed Steam workshop mods, and I was a dumb kid back then, so I downloaded an achievement compilation button mod that puts them right in whiterun, it taints my 100% list from now on and I wish I could feel it or restart the achievements and do the grind properly

my most “embarrassing” is either storm boy or light in the darkness but those games actually had a meaning and aside from being insanely easy we’re actually a little interesting

My first platinum was Minecraft Story Mode season 2. There is only one achievement and you get it when you beat the game. My second platinum was Subnautica, so I was mortified when I saw the first part of the video.

Before i started trophy hunting i told myself I would never do shovel wear games and so far ive only platinumed 7 games on my 8th rn and i loved all 7 games

I was so worried about 100 platinums that i would always skip dlcs so now ive got a ton of unfinished games that are gsrd to go back to. If the dlc is expensive i dont mind but there are games i have dlc for or gas free dlc and im ashamed of those. Im glad after i hit a hundred i didn't continue that trend. I found that the numver didnt really change anything. I just do it for me i dont have friends that play games so no one knows about my platinums but me.

Apart from two telltale games you mentioned, I got the platinum for Hello Neighbor. The story of the game is kinda sad, but the game just really isnt that good. The trophies required some stupid random stuff that certainly require a guide.

@@SANDREZZ a lot of tasks you need to do for the trophies are just tedious and time consuming. It all just feels so random. The prequel feels a bit more fleshed out and polished. But like I said, backstory is tragic and it did resonate with me, a tiny bit

I’m currently grinding a game for my second ever platinum, the first was Astros playroom lol

The only platinum I am someone ashamed of is Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare remastered. I went through the game on Veteran difficulty til the end on Mile High Club, the mission I lost my mind on. There was an exploit where you played through the mission on easy and reloaded on Veteran and the trophy pops. Whether I’m worthy of forgiveness for my misdeed or not it doesn’t sit right in my heart.

I have 16 platinums. I think the one that sticks out to me the most so far was Destiny 2 release date. You finish the story and do a raid and bam. Platinum.

Big brain moment: if you dont like a game youre playing, stop playing it. Why are you continuing just for a trophy? Play something you enjoy, youre missing the point of video games.

The las of us part 1 and part 2 have very easy platinums but to do them you can easly look up a video on what part you are on to find all collectibles, comics, tools, workbenches ect

When Diablo 3 DLC came out I bought it and tried to platinum them but I had no patience so I I ask a friend (Hardcore-Diablo-Fan) who carried me trough all of the late game trophys and finished at a disgustingly low playtime.

wouldn't say my most embarrassing plat trophy since i was playing xbox, but it'd either be bo2 or l4d2 i used a mod menu on the backwards compatibility version so i could get max credits in order to store them in my bank and in the process had ended up using an achievement tool whilst looking through the menu (didn't use it on multiplayer, i'm not scummy) and for l4d2 is a bit confusing cause idk how exactly it happened unlike with bo2, but i had joined a scavenge game and after the game was over and i went back to playing campaign with a friend, i had super speed and super jump height, and so realizing this i decided to get most, if not all the achievements (this one hurts most)

First plat I ever got in my life was God of War 3. Now I am thinking of 100%ing the previous 2 games since they ae both at 94% I decided that I don't want to trophy hunt cause I got easily well over 300 games I have played but instead display Platinum only for the games I am really fond off. It's like a list so whoever sees them knows how much I love those specific games.

I am not a platinum trophy hunter, but I do have a embarassing platinum trophy in Nier Automata. After a certain point in the game, there is a shop where you can actually buy every trophy in exchange fo the game's currency.

I did the same cause it was funny as hell and just absurd!!

I have only one platinum trophy which is in Elden ring and I’m really proud of it.

Got my PlayStation 5 three days ago after being an “Xbot” for many years, I have over half a million gamerscore on Xbox and so the whole platinums thing came quite easy to me. I’m at 10 platinums already and just about to hit Bronze 3 or whatever the little tier things are. I honestly think I’ll speed through to 100 plats in a month or so then chill and play the games I want at my own pace.

I really doubt you’re going to get 100 plats in a month. It takes most people years

The my only plat being prototype 2 was way too easy i even tried doing allghe trophy requirements again on a new game in insane mode and still felt like there should have been more but uh imma play a few otger games...some through unsavory means but imma do em and imma fell moderate disdain throughout.

Everyone is different but at least for me platinum trophies are just the ultimate goals to complete the games I actually like/love to play. I don't just want to get the platinum from any game... I want to get the platinum from the games that are actually enjoyable and somewhat challenging to play to get the feeling of accomplishing something you put some time and effort to.

i dont have a playstation anymore but it isnt that serious to have a bad game on a list

Embarrassing but also my most proud is the binding of Isaac. I find it embarrassing because it shows that I sat down and just kept on restarting runs just to get all items at least one. And but restarting runs, I mean restarting runs for about 30 hours straight.

I have no platinums but i have "ideal games" on steam(ideal means all achievements)(portal, slime rancher, in progress of subnautica)

I'm ashamed of the Assasins Creed IV Black Flag platinum trophy because I played the boring multiplayer for like 20 hours just to get the last trophies. I'm also ashamed of all the other platinum trophies were I forced myself to get the trophies that were too grindy and not fun. I mean I got the satisfaction of obtaining them in the end but in hindsight I wasted so much time with tedious stuff. It kind of cleaned my trophy obsession that I had. I don't hunt trophies anymore but every time I look back at my trophy list I really have a bad feeling about some games. I'm still proud of fun trophies that came naturally while playing like Labyrinth of Refrain. I also have the Mayo and Slyde platinum trophy but they don't bother me as much as those grindy trophies.

My most embarrassing platinum trophies are Sofiya and the Ancient Clan for both the PS5 and PS4. Yes, I played the same game twice for each console 😂😂

About the fun coop game, there's a release of a PC game called Deep Rock Galactic that's pretty fun. Go check out some gameplay of it and see if you'll enjoy it

For kena I watched an entire platinum playthrough because i didn't want to find and keep track of all the collectibles

Meanwhile i did Kena Bridge of Spirits in Master difficulty legit. It was tough but damn it is finally done.

Akiba's Trip 1 and 2, played the PS4 port of both. I wouldn't exactly say I'm embarrassed by these platinums, I actually really enjoyed both these two games. Am happy to show off their platinums. BUT... The only thing is, some of the names and descriptions of the trophies, are well, questionable, if you haven't got context or know the games you're going to be giving me looks!!! If I had to say any platinums I'm not to proud or fond of is Fall Guys and Rogue Company. Games are fine, played with mate mainly but I'm not too fond of online games so the only I ended up playing them was just for the trophies. Going through Snowrunner at the moment and regretting going for the platinum, just a tedious chore, I'm just thankful I'm got help playing with a mate. Got achievements for Telltale games on Xbox, yeah pretty easy. I now decide to really only get trophies if I like the game and IF I find them reasonable (or a multiplayer co-op game).

I currently have 11 platinum trophies, I've always had an addiction for getting them after my first and by far my favourite one, inFAMOUS second son, other than that I'm proud of all but 1 trophie, I've got infamous 1 through to second son aswell as first light platinum, I've got gow 3 remastered, gow 4 and gow ragnarok, I've got spider man miles morales, watch dogs 2 and ofc minecraft, but my least favourite platinum trophies I have gotten has to go to rainbow six siege. When I got it the game was fun-ish but also annoying so getting the platinum just wasn't as rewarding as the rest of the games. I was kind of relieved that I could just stop playing the game.
