It was not the ultraconservative Christian fasisct movement that appeared in the sport. It wasn't the Hungarians who started showing political symbols on TV, on billboards and on the team captain! Oh and about racism, we didn’t keep colonies and we didn’t rob India. It was a very long time since that damage had not been repaired.

Hey, we Hungarians know this feeling. At the 2016 Euros we made the top of our group, had some great matches even after, but one year later we lost to Andorra, then Luxembourg, also Kazahstan. It happens. We bounced back, so will you, cause you got many great players. Just leave the politics out of the football please.

Thanks for the upload. As a Hungarian it’s socking in a good way. We are dangerous underdogs for a couple of years now especially against big opponents. I’m not sure about Southgate but if you rewatch the euro 2020 wit an average European eye you would understand why everyone against England except English fans. I’m sure it was great experience for you guys but England don’t deserved the final and you guys will be underperforming with Southgate.it’s now or never to change manager. I am not a football fan but as i saw, england wasn't at the top of their game. The Hungary-Germany 1-1 is more promising, as i said i am not a fan of football but even i would love to see our national team get a new "golden team".. Don't feel embarassed guys, it ain't your fault or anything. I do feel sorry for you though, that was quite the humiliation by our national team. But truth be told Hungary got stronger and stronger since Euros 2016 (where we finished 1st in the group). I know you don't rate our team and our players very highly but you really should be, because we became a force to be reckoned with. There is a reason we are in Group A and also why we top THIS insane group. Either way, it was a good game, you had chances too, hopefully you will do better against Germany and Italy and definitely much better in the world cup! Good luck! :) From a hungarian.

I really enjoyed your video, man! It reminded me that there still are fair and intelligent football fans around, just like in the year 1953, when the whole Wembley was celebrating the winning Hungarians (take a look at that 6-3 game sometime!) and nobody got embarrassed by the fact that they came from a communist country or whatever, because it was all about the game and no stupid politics! Exclude these issues and focus on the game, because sports should bring people together and not divide them, like politics does... We shall show respect for eachothers anthems, flags or players and fans. Political ideologies just don't belong in to the stadium!

I've never visited England and until yesterday I've the - naive - stereotype about the country that it's the home of gentlemen and good manners. But that shouting whistling and clamour during the Hungarian anthem was revealing an absolutely different picture about the English.

Germany had had the same problem back in the last months of Löw. Lots of ball possession, but the final punch was missing. Be patient, sometimes the team, the fans and the media need a slap like this 0-4 to get the attitude and humility back. Hungary knew how to play against teams that get more and more nervous as the game processes. They took this campaign very seriously. They don't have the depth, but sure had the attitude that some "big" teams are missing recently.

You know, our team have struggled for a relatively long time (I'm sure you heard about the Golden Team we had back in the day with the likes of Puskas, Kocsis and etc. but it was long ago) so this success Hungary has over England - what is absolutely one of the best "football nations" of course - I think it gave hope back to us, hungarians. I was there. Effort - Most of the England players looked like they were going through the motions, they should have been trying to show they deserved a place in their national team. I see more get up and go on a Saturday morning watching a league of 9 year olds. And all this rubbish spoken about too many matches and a long season. They are professional athletes and should be able to play at least 3 matches per week all year. Scared - Ooh, there's an opponent coming towards me, I'll pass it sideways. Ooh, normally, playing for my league team I'd take this guy on but I'm scared to make a mistake, I'll pass it sideways. Oh yeah, I don't want to be the one that loses possession, I'll pass it sideways......etc..etc.. I just got frustrated with the amount of times the ball went sideways, sideways, sideways! The best teams don't do that, they have attack as their mantra. Not England I'm afraid. Tactics - Most of the game it was lets play it to feet and try to walk it through them. That's ok if you're good at it, we arent. Hungary were excellent, they played a high defensive line compressing the space available. Southgate should have reacted to this. There's nothing wrong with route one and balls over the top of compressed defences. We need the option of a good header in the team. Remember Wagstaff, Dougan and Richards, it worked so well for them. Manager - We're not as good as our Euro results suggested. We were lucky much of the time. This attitude of 'we must not lose' should be ditched and changed to 'we must win'. Southgate's style is too defensive and play it safe, too conservative. We need to be more adventurous and take more risks. Defenders don't like attacking players that come at them, we have players like that, they need to be the focus of play, not the odd player stuck out on the wing. Southgate needs to change his mindset, It's not a game of chess, his tactics need a kick up the ****. If we lose then we lose but at least we should try hard to win. His motivation of players...he's too soft. These guys need to feel every game is their last chance to prove their worth. Value - Tickets for these games aren't cheap. Maybe I'm old fashioned, I don't expect them to win but I do expect a performance, a decent attempt to win. We have the players in this country .... I hope everyone learns from this, we need a step change in effort, desire and tactics. It is possible, I hope they step up.

You have amazing clarity in your delivery. England is not playing as a team currently after doing so for the past 4 years. This could signal a change that could linger on for a while. Being from the US we’re looking in with particular interest because of the group. Every England draw, loss or win is being looked at carefully to see how we could pull it off in Qatar. One thing I will say many English fans and commentators think the US will be a cake walk and it will be easy. Since we fail to qualify for Russia 2018 we got a whole new generation with many players feasting for a moment to show Americans in particular and the world we are indeed the future.
