@@AM-we1es Indeed, bourreau is historically the executioner although it can also be synonymous of tormentor. I was a bit hesitant on that point but eventually chose the latter as the character doesn't kill her prey/partner(I think?) and to me it fitted the bdsm tone better. Thank you for your feedback! ^^

So, this has sat in my Watch Later for 4 years and I'm just now listening to it. Also thank you to your promo team for the free songs on FB. Amazing stuff.

Je suis venu à Elyose, à travers cette vidéo en tant que recommandation YT, il y a environ 4-5 ans. J'avoue que j'étais sceptique au premier abord, pensant que ce serait peut-être un autre groupe qui montre un joli visage sans beaucoup plus à offrir. Mais, quelle énorme erreur j'ai commise, ils ont mis quelques secondes à dire, (comme on le faisait dans mon pays) "De aquí soy!", en faisant référence au fait que c'était l'une des meilleures découvertes musicales et que J'ai tout de suite adopté ce groupe comme l'un des miens. Aujourd'hui surtout j'apprécie encore une fois cette vidéo et à vrai dire, vous appréciant aussi Justine je me déclare prisonnière de vos charmes. Mais maintenant grâce à une belle notification qui célèbre les plus de 3 millions de vues de cette vidéo. J'espère que de plus en plus de personnes auront l'opportunité d'en savoir plus sur cette proposition et que cette communauté continuera à grandir. Mes meilleurs voeux! et bravo !!

On the blood-timent part is a word play that don’t translate at all, sentiment mean emotion, more or less, except she said it in the lyric sang-timent, because it sound the same, but sang mean blood

Clicked for the face, stayed for the music (after like 3 seconds in) - will keep coming back for the story. Would be nice to understand - I'm a linguistically poor fella, only speak 3 languages and French is not one of them. Anyhow, keep up the good work! It's brilliant!

Le premier couplet serais plus a sa place en fin de chanson, et le sujet mérite d’être plus approfondis , enfaîte le seul couplet que j'aime bien est le deuxième qui avec le refrain retranscrit quelque chose d'interressant. ça reste mon avis Mais je trouve dommage que le reste du texte n'est pas a la hauteur du deuxième couplet.

C'est facile de résumer les paroles d'une chanson pour montrer que c'est simple. Il y a quand même une recherche dans le style : du vocabulaire, des figures de style, ... Compare ce texte à ceux des comédies musicales françaises, ou à du mauvais rap (mais c'est un peu facile). Ce n'est pas le même niveau. Quant à la longueur du texte, le dormeur du val de Rimbaud fait 14 vers, et ça n'empêche pas beaucoup de monde de considérer qu'il soit bon. Loin de moi l'idée de comparer le texte d'Elyose au poème de Rimbaud, mon point est juste de montrer que la longueur n'est pas un critère important. On pourrait parler des haiku.

Les figure de style je peux pas dire je n'en connais pas beaucoup mais le vocabulaire ... Pour la longueur je fait souvent le raccourcis entre longueur et qualité c'est vrai.

I listen to a lot of music, in a lot of different languages, and this is AWESOME! I don't really speak anything beyond English, just a bit of Spanish, but I am learning to understand these other languages through music. Other French-language artists like Mylène Farmer, while in a different genre, are great too.

I cant stop listening to this song I've heard this about 4 times today. I'm from Brazil and as everybody else I dont understand a word in french. I guess you should put some english subtitles on your video description at least, even if all your songs are in french it would help you to reach more people around the world because we want to know what the message is, not only enjoy the sound.
