My love of Elvis comes from my Grandma. She was the last person you'd think would be a fan of his (she was very conservative), but she loved Elvis. I loved Grandma so much, so anything about Elvis makes me think of her.

Life back then was more conservative and liberal was not as far left wing as we see today Elvis was a swooner the women loved him and he did a lot of films also.

@@Dcw-rp6ib Indeed times were different then, and a good many people disapproved of Elvis. Knowing my Grandma, you'd think she'd be one of them, but she wasn't.

I grew up listening to Elvis because my mother loved him so and so do I. I wouldn’t be surprised if I were created with him playing in the background. And I love you too.

This is my all time favorite ELVIS song! No one else could ever sing it so beautifully! He was a master at LOVE songs and Ballads...but, to me, you can always hear the Gospel roots in them. Also, most genres that he sings, the Gospel is at their core!!! When he sings Country, R&B, and even Rockabilly...the Gospel is there! But in the Love Songs, it is soooo obvious!!!
