Hi Rose (and Philippe again). Absolutely 💯👍👍. Real raw early Elvis gets the adrenaline flowing, you just cannot take your eyes of the screen!! No one else compares imo to the reaction you feel, especially with me. It's also nice to see his group more clearly in the background (thanks to Philippe), Scotty, Bill and DJ! I love Bill Black he looked so cool with that upright Bass, and that Bass line in this song, phew he was so good. Love Scotty Moore too, he had a unique original guitar playing style! Fontana phlegmatically looks around, pretending that he has nothing to do with those hands that so masterfully deal with the drum kit (it seems that this is a common style of drummers of that period - some external detachment from the subject of their studies). The enigmatic Moore, like a enigmatic cat, restrained, courteous, smiles mysteriously as always (and I’m very interested in what’s encrypted in this smile). Bill Black enlivens the landscape, portraying a simple, cheerful guy and encouraging the boy at the microphone. And who is this strange boy at the microphone? - he seems catastrophically nervous and throws salt and pepper into the fire literally by handfuls, and, surprisingly, it turns out an incredible, mind-blowing fireworks from which it is impossible to tear yourself away (Elvis, what do you feel/think when you look at this boy? - Do you believe it's you? From the exorbitant height of your current charisma - do you believe? Since then, everything has changed so much...)

It's kinda cool this has been colorized, BUT..Elvis would not have been wearing a grey coat. It would more likely be green or pink !! He was as flamboyant with his clothes as he was in his performance..

I don't colorize videos directly! I export them as PNG image sequences ... Today, there are many image colorization programs with batch processing... And they're all more or less equivalent... The most important thing is to adjust whites, blacks, light and dark tints, as well as brightness and contrast, before colorizing! This makes a big difference to the result... But then I correct all the colorimetry to remove parasitic colors like violet, magenta and orange on the skins! ... then I run a first pixel cleanup by increasing the resolution to 2K, then a Face recovery by staying in 2K then a second cleanup by increasing to 4K with this time an export of my images in MP4. I re-synchronize with the sound track and sometimes adjust the final lumetri settings.
