I was there at that concert - my sister-in-law's husband got the tickets, and we were thrilled! She and I went and loved it. He is an amazing entertainer! Always gives his all. I was a fan since I was 6, as my teenage sisters and brothers listened to his records all the time. No one will ever compare to him.

ELVIS came to my town of Saginaw Mi twice in about a week's time in 1977 April 25 and May 3 and yes we were there. Funny i was a kid a then and if I did my chores my Mom would get the tickets out and let me hold them and ELVIS stayed at The Hilton in Troy Michigan and we were so very lucky to be waiting there hoping to see ELVIS up close but never expected ELVIS to say hello shake my hand and ask me How ya doing? Thank you ELVIS man Twice in a week's time.❤

Since October1976 it seems Elvis was in a much better shape. He look healthy an in good mood. The shows till the the of 76 were almost very good.

Finding new footage of an Elvis concert is like finding gold ✨in that O’l Jeans 👖 you forgot in the closet.

Elvis had so much electricity that was generated. When he was on stage you didn't wanta take your eyes off of him. Not the King of the world but definitely the King of rock and roll.

I saw him in San Francisco a month later. Still looked as good as he does here. These videos on KZread, keep making him larger than life. OMG he was so gorgeous, we are lucky to live in this age of technology where we can re-live Elvis' concerts and movies over and over again.

I was there,my sister took me for my 18th birthday,she knew I loved Elvis since I was 8years old.Seats were up real high so I couldn't get a good look at Elvis.A man next to us had binoculars but wouldn't let me take a quick look which I thought was rotten but I still got to hear Elvis's beautiful voice.

Awesome show He knows how keep His fans Happy

I went to my first Elvis concert in Chicago 1971. I was 4yrs and yes i still rembr it! My dad was a Police Office and he often times worked the Stadium, so we were blessed to attend a lot of events, including Elvis concerts. Im not positive if it was this concert, but we got to see him 2x on this tour to Chicago. My birthday is Oct 10 and I got to go with dad by myself to one of them. I was so excited and even tho we were to the side behind him, we had very close seats. At some point, I screamed his name and he actually turned around and answered! When it came time for scarves, I just couldn't reach far enough and the girl in front of me got 2 😩😥. My dad offered to buy one for $50 (a lot back then) but her dad declined. After the show, i got to go back stage to his dressing room. Of course he wasn't there, but his presence still lingered. It was a night ill never forget. I was devastated when he died and we made the trek to Graceland. I have a diverse taste in music and I made sure my husband has the same (and now our kids, too). Elvis is always in my heart, always... ❤️‍🔥🕺👑

When the concert first started ( this video) I cried because to me he seemed tired and to me even though he is so great and awesome it’s heartbreaking how run down he got. I keep a photo in my room of Elvis and my Aunt Pearl from March 1959 at the Moulin Rouge, Munich. My Aunt & Uncle had lived there for a few years and were the managers at that club for a time. He is so very special to me. I’m a professional violinist and have listened to many style of music my whole life….totally 💜❤💜❤💜❤ Elvis. He’s wonderful…but again feel sad for what happened to him 😢

I agree!! Elvis is the Greatest Ever, and his schedule was very demanding for years! Which took its toll on him! My Dad was stationed with Elvis in Germany for his whole stay over there. Our Govt supplied him with stimulants because he had to stay up and on duty for hours of the night in the cold Mountains of Germany and they got a hold of Elvis just like they did to me years ago…

@@tiarara2011 i just saw your reply. Something I just read in a book about Elvis has disturbed my love of him. I just read that when he was on the set of Flaming Star, that he was supposed to ride a horse and he chose a very large horse named Big Red. The horse was not properly trained, was kind of a new horse and he was not able to really ride Elvis very well the 1st x. That 1st ride was very bumpy and and difficult for Elvis but he did not get thrown by the horse. When Elvis got off the horse according to Sonny Wests book "Elvis Still Taking Care of Business" Elvis punched the horse in the mouth. This is not something that you do to any animal. I don't like this at all and then to take it further I read that the trainer of that horse took it further and abused the horse further by putting a totally tight bit in his mouth ..made it so tight that the horse's mouth frothed and bled + that trainer also hit and ounched the horse I do not like this kind of treatment of animals, and horses especially. My paternal grandfather took care of horses on an estate in Western Southern Germany before he came to America and I remember him talking about his love of horses and how gentle that they were I doubt that he would ever do anything like that. My cousin also had owned a racehorse and was always worried about the horse because he could not be there all the time and he finally sold the horse and had him put on a farm in upstate New York. My cousin said that horses are not treated well as racing horses and he said he did not fully know that going into buying the horse as a racehorse but soon found out. This story in Sonny West's book is a tale of animal abuse of the highest order of the court and it is marring my love of Elvis because I don't like it

Elvis is a famous animal lover. I'm not sure I would give a lot of creedence to either of these stories. Representatives of the ASPCA are always on movie sets. I doubt they would sanction any of this.@@nataliekriegler9329

I saw Elvis on Oct. 23, 1976 in Cleveland, Ohio at the Richfield Coliseum. I have the Royal Gambit in Richfield bootleg audience recording. Being close to that date, it is great to hear from the soundboard just how fantastic his voice was at that time. Thanks for sharing!!

Elvis did lose a good deal of weight by the Fall of ‘76. He looked thinner here and sounded good, albeit a bit tired at times. Later in ‘76 he did put on some of the best concerts of the last three years of his life.

I have these concerts on cd good shows both of them Elvis had dropped a couple of pounds he seemed more coherent compared 2 the previous months voice was strong & seemed 2 b glad 2 be back were he belonged doing what he did best making people very happy what great gift & heavy burden at the same time.

If Elvis was a baseball player no doubt his batting average declined his last 3 years, but he still did some very good shows, like this one. Videos and soundboards show that the last 3 years were not a total waste of time spent in a incoherent drug filled haze, like a lot of books written years ago would have us believe.

Looked, sounded and did great show!! For some unknown reason from late September 76 to at least January 77 Elvis was in GREAT shape. He lost so much weight he fit into his suits from 74 and 75.....easily. Was healthier and happier as well. If he continued this way for a few more months........he would have been back to early 70s weight and health!! But sadly, again for some unknown reason from February 77.........downhill to the end 😢

Elvis looked so good at the beginning of this video. Thanks once again for sharing this beautiful man. Love all the same songs and never tire of his wonderful voice. ❤

54:00 Elvis was SO unpredictable. Such an individual. I have NEVER seen him (or actually ANYONE!) perform a song twice in a row??? Wow. You just never know with this man. That, quiet as kept, is part of his unspoken mystique....along with his unfathomable BRAVERY (I mean, this man started it ALL....ALONE!!)! I never saw anyone sing their own song in front of an audeience off of a piece of paper before! ONLY Elvis. Just....wow. Never stops! I'll be discovering new things about this guy (God willing) in my old/er AGE!! HOW....did he DO it??????

Watch Elvis in wonderful movie Frankie n Johnny, he is heavier in early scenes, then in a black western suit with white fringe, n the red drum major's suit he is slim. Like so many of us, Elvis ate to feel better when he was sad or injured

Sadly 10 months later he had gained weight, struggled to move on stage, however, his singing voice remained beautiful, he passed August 1977.
