Explaination : luna seal prevent elvira passive Elvira passive prevent crit So luna allow elvira to crit with s3 S3 dmg is based on hp , and pen def , base dmg being around 40% of target hp So a build with 200% crit dmg will deal dmg about 120% of target health So if you see a elvira , if she crit , you loose 1 unit

Elvira becoming the go to unit in the current meta is honestly hilarious. She was broken on release and was forced to make a recall. Now they unintentionally opened the floodgates yet again on her. She's been the greatest investment for my account. Time to add Luna to my abuse defense strategy lol

well it's a specific build to counter ML Luna, since if u build crit dmg and rate on elvira or senya, and the opposing team has no Luna or seal debuff then it's pretty useless

But I think Elvira will only work against teams which is not cleave if you are playing Luna as a cleave Elvira will die before she will take her turn but her immortality activate after using her s3 so, over all if opponents are playing a Luna team com which is not cleave then Elvira will work so it's not a meta breaking thing but yeah thanks to that guy in the comments of last video who gave this idea. I think she is a bit better version of nakhwal due to she is an hp scaling damage dealer

oh so now i get it took me a while to figure out, so basicly seal disables the "cannot crit" condition so elvira is able to crit with S3 genius , i wonder what other units can abuse this lol

All of the other "cannot crit" units can do so (e.g. Senya, Hwayoung, Siseria, etc), but Elvira is bonkers because her S3 deals % max HP so it can instantly delete 1 character no matter how tanky they are. The other units can't do the same amount of "fixed" damage

So that's why she can't crit.

They better not patch this, elvira is already good n all but we need a unit that discourages the aoe seal, so the game wont be all a speed battle

going to give my Adin gear to Elvira asap xD

This applies to Laia s3? 🧐 I can't imagine an s3 that deals 30k dmg without crit if crits

Nope. Seal only blocks REAL passive abilities Which is the S2. It does block Passive effects WITHIN an active ability such as Laia's s3 (this ability cannot crit) or Cerise s1 (S1 guarantees dual attack when s3 is off) Here, Elvira's S2 prevents her from critting overall so if it gets sealed then she gets to crit, But laia's s3 specifically says that this ability cannot crit so seal has no effect on her. Tldr, No

Star Blessing alone doesn't stop counterattacks. The passive does when she has Star Blessing. Since her passive was sealed, though, that part wasn't applied

TBH, yhe first team barely holds any value to Seal so the enemy dude picking Luna might be the wrong move. The second guy probably picked her just to not let you pick her because there is no point on picking her if your whole team is slower than the enemy's whole team 😂

Its a a effect skill null, negates the first effect of a skill, if the first one is a strip buff, it just wont work

Her passive doesn't let her to crit, and when she's sealed, her passive is not active, allowing her to crit

Their passive makes them not crit. So the "seal" debuff, removes their own passive debuff allowing them to crit

Does that mean Hwayoung & Arunka can do it too?

If I'm right both Elvira and MRoana's passive does not allow them to crit. That's why they do massive amounts of damage. The debuff "seal" allows them to crit Hwayoung has a stat boost on her passive. Probably like 30% more attack like Summer Iseria or something, which she would lose if sealed.

⁠@@chunkygolem3054Hwa doesn’t have the attack bonus anymore, that was Hwaold’s thing. Her passive is now free benimaru’s tachi (1 turn attack increase if no debuffs). That is to say, it’s not realistically obtainable because you’d have to resist unbuffable or cleanse it without cleansing seal and then apply the atk buff with someone else. But theoretically she could do bigger nukes if she had maxed crit stats even without the attack buff, but it wouldn’t be as impressive as Elvira. Realistically we already have critting Hwa with Jenua

But, this isn't a glitch, it's just that elvira passive actually nerfs her , the only thing I see them doing, is them nerfing her by making her s3 and s1 not be able to crit instead of being her passive
