But it's not a cover, cover implies that it's another band or individual. It's a playthrough when it's a member of the original band.

Seriously, I think the Hurdy Gurdy has become my favorite instrument. These play throughs are amazing.

This version of the song with hurdy gurdy a little bit louder is really magnificent, i'm in love it, you cannot distinguish this fantastic melodies so good in the original song, only after hearing this version i've understood how awesome it is and loved it even more! Fantastic work! You should release it as a bonus track to the album :)

This is my favourite song from the album, I wish the Hurdy was louder in the final mix, that's a great piece.

Had the amazing opportunity to stand right in front of you for the second time this year last saturday in Zlín :) The show was amazing and your performance especially in Deathwalker felt truly out of this world. Wow! That song and the intro of the show with elements of Catvrix transitioning into Ategnatos were stunningly beautiful. I'm typing this mainly to thank you for the tons of inspiration you provide not only to hurdy gurdy players or musicians in general, but to all young aspiring artists like me who strive to make something enjoyable for others. I love Eluveitie music and your contribution to it and I also love the fact that hard work paid off for you. You really deserved it! Hope you keep strong and happy for the rest of the tour despite how exhausting it must be to perform every evening. Enjoy the northern countries and come back to Prague, Vizovice, or Zlín as soon as possible, please :) But most of all keep rocking and be proud of yourself!

Jesus... I've been bringing these videos and there are NO weak gurdy riffs. Seriously some great playing and writing! I would love to hear a mix of some songs without guitars and vocals just to hear how many layers there are. This stuff is seriously so well orchestrated it's insane.

Saw you in Brisbane this year at the Zoo. You guys were fucking incredible and the patience you have to keep the rhythm on that thing while everyone else around you was losing their shit was amazing. That night was the best metal concert I've been to and I hope you guys return to Australia soon so I can go again :)

When I watch Michalina playing this instrument, I can't stop thinking about Hurdy Gurdy is a very complex mechanical instrument.

this CD has been my breakfast run music for the last week :). "Run" as in fire up the car and crank the ever livin' SH** out of the stereo while driving to Micky D's. You can quibble all you want about my breakfast choice, but *not* about my choice of music lol. I don't drink coffee, but Eluveitie at about 110db and some diet coke will do the trick every time.
