Hey guys! Ofcourse these are only fragments of Elton John and his wonderful piano playing. So be sure to check out other video’s of the Rocket Man and his piano! Recently a new video was uploaded to KZread in which Elton sits at the piano and talks about some of his early songs and which chord structures he used. It’s a great video! You can find the link below. 👇👇👇 kzread.info/dash/bejne/iYGgucSKgqTblZM.html

I just found your video because of that actually! I was a little disappointed that he didn't actually explain much about the music. But I hadn't heard any of those songs he played before, so that was nice to discover a few new ones.

Was watching him live in concert in Charlotte, NC in 2014. He was playing Rocket Man. The stage lights were right in his eyes, in the middle of the song he said “get those fucking lights out of my eyes” and kept on singing like it was part of the lyrics.

You wouldn’t think he was the pianist he is with those little chubby fingers, but wow. And an incredible voice.
Musician extraordinaire. Every time he plays a song he adds something more. New depths and more heights to the original score. Love you Elton. xx

THANK YOU, Elton John! For bringing so much Happiness, So much Joy into our lives...So, Glad, So Grateful that you're in the world...
His fingers and musical talent are simply GENIUS‼️
There will NEVER be another Elton John.... so legendary!
Knighted or not I would still address this legend as Sir.
Anyone can play the piano, his ability to compose and sing while playing is what makes him the GOAT
His lovely and heartfelt performance of the masterpiece "Candle In The Wind" at the tragic funeral of Princess Diana always brings tears to my eyes and will always have a special place in my heart and takes the number 1 spot of my favorite Elton moments
I guess I'll elude the people who aren't too versed in music theory, but that D major over B-flat major in The One is NUTS. Many musicians would be scared to just hear of that kind of harmony, and some would even consider it "wrong"; I mean, bitonality in a pop song? Yet, Elton makes it spine-tingling and perfect. This man's brilliance kills me.
Elton John can play any style on a Piano. That's why he is the greatest pianist in modern Pop/Rock Music. A true worldwide Legend. Successful for over 50 years and counting. Long live Sir Elton John.

Just think of all Sir Elton John has memory wise in him for music , it’s so amazing we don’t have any one else that can really do what is all memory playing in him . We are all so blessed to say he really is the totally best in more than a life time , young kids better say thank you to him a million times over because he is a master
Elton made the piano sound like no one had heard, either a sweet light melody or a pop rock song. He played so authentic. When I think of piano I think of Elton. I’m thankful I got to witness him in my lifetime. A singer , writer, musician. Truly talented. Very few trifectas around.

I saw Elton years ago in Philadelphia and when he played The One the platform for the piano raised up and spun slowly in a circle. It must have gone up a good 25-30 feet and all the time Elton smiled, sang and kept playing. Never saw anything like that before but it’s still a clear memory today. I’ve been blessed to have seen him in person at least 7 times and he’s never disappointed. God Bless Elton!

Outclassed by Liberace by a long way. Elton has very basic left hand patterns. The right hand is very formulaic - he's not improvising just reusing old riffs he's fond of. Great entertainer/song writer but not an exceptional pianist
I would love to see that man`s brain , and the creativity centers within for both playing as well as singing as well as composing , a PURE GENIUS , he feels every tone he plays as every word he sings ,especially in the greatest of the glorious SEVENTIES of his , penny and the jets , Saturday night alright .your song the whole album of songs from the west coast, let`s not forget the unwell appreciated as it worth ( TINY DANCER) which he as a true artist played it it here twice , never a single middle leveled song , Love and respect , DIVINE SIR ELTON JOHN
