See though, this is bad for business at present people being off it, yes, but not violent / warrant of the pigs being present. Sucks but tis what tis at present. As usual, tis what it is my friend. We're all one at the end of the day and conplete unity is a way away at present but Ive a sneaky suspicion that upon unity there'll be something to fuxk it up because its all about duality, black, white, left, right, on, off, hard, soft. Unity will put too much in the favour of Good. Thus resulting in something needing to give for balance, maybe the interpretations will change. @@rawyld I imagine that Elton knows that he's uniquely able to help some celebrities. No doubt he's abundantly aware of his privileged position of not being able to be bullshitted by the addict/alcoholic. The celebrity addict can't use any of the usual excuses that they might usually use, on themselves & others, on Elton. E.g. No one understands me, my identity is being a tortured artist, I won't be as creative if I'm sober, I don't need to get sober because I'm not poor and sleeping on a park bench. Elton is the living embodiment of all that not being true. I'm a rich kid in recovery. So many of my fellow rich kids didn't get sober. But I have 1 friend who's from a wealthy society family and is independently famous himself in music and him sticking with recovery early on helped me and vice versa. My head sometimes goes to "I'm the only one who is like me in recovery." Then I remember him and I remember why I need to and want to stay sober. Every time I meet a rich kid in recovery I make a point of telling them that I am one too. I know that I'm in a unique position as proof that they can get and stay sober too. I think if something makes you feel different then share it.
