Still had a decade of being a 20 & 10 guy, finished his career with solid averages all-around (Just a bit under 16 points & around 8 rebounds in a 17 year career), won medals with Team USA & made a Final Four in College with Duke along with being national player of the year and a first team all american in college. Remember that it's the Basketball HOF, not the NBA HOF. I say he gets in.... he's done enough to put himself in the Hall.
@kenan-b
6 жыл бұрын
Cody Smith I'm well aware it is the basketball hall of fame, or else sure fire hall of famers like manu and pau wouldn't get in, I still don't think Elton brand had a hall of fame worthy basketball career due to his potential and longevity as a top player in the NBA being cut by injuries (which is what mostly matters and is what is taken into account for american born players, as well as NCAA where we all realize he was excellent)
@kenan-b
6 жыл бұрын
MrBrenman21 i want you to answer this question with 100% honesty please. If manu ginobili was born and raised in America and had absolutely no international or Olympic career but had the same NBA career he actually has today (and a 2nd round pick caliber college career since he was drafted 2nd round) would he go to the hall of fame? And about pau, great, consistent 20-10 player, but you can argue that he's never been a top 10 player in the NBA in his *entire career* (despite like you said his noteworthy playoff performances), as in each season he's played in you can assuredly argue 10 players were better than him that season so he's not exactly obvious top tier hof talent, but he actually does have an argument, more than manu I'd say

Always had him on my 2k Teams
He should of had more Allstar appearance
I'd have to go with Michael Redd. Awesome video as usual
As a sixers fan it still blows my mind how much more athletic he was in LA
Thank you for this one, Funky. Now I have to ask this: Do you guys feel Brand is a HOFer?

He would've had a legitimate chance if not for his injuries, so unfortunately not

Cody Smith nah. Stats akine arsnt enough. In that case, jamison, joe Johnson , and shawn marion are hofers too.
He is underrated because he played for the clippers. Nobody took the clippers seriously until CP3 joined them.
can you make a video about rajon rondo or rashard Lewis
He was good and underatted for sure.
Yo funky in ur next myleague mygm can u try out my 2018 and 2019 draft classes ?

@@TheStatisfiedOne fasho but whats the point of bringing that up?that was 2010 outside of early 2k. where he was in his prime. Even in cleveland he averaged 15, 17, 18. So he was still good. His real decline was when he went to the Lakers

@@JohnDoe-df6yr my bad I taught you ment Lebron had a 20 10 player with him🤣. Didn’t read the early comments
I was just a lad in Chicago, but when they traded him for Chandler I nearly wept Got his autograph at a Bulls game before he left though Fancied myself a 6’1” Elton Brand in low level high school hoops You made an impression on this guy, Mr. 20-10
what anthony bennett should of been
Block by Brand! - Ralph Lawler
Eb clipper legend . "Blocked by brand!"
Someone was comparing Isaiah Stewart from University of Washington to Elton Brand so I thought I’d revisit some videos of Brand.
Very underrated always think of him and Antonio Mcdyess as underrated PF sucks Mcdyess got injured
Elton Brand in my opinion would be like Draymond Green in today's NBA, Brand was super underrated and I really wished my Bulls would have kept him
Let’s go
Well the 2000's were full of big men and especially power forwards so I'm not that shocked he is slept on
Top 10 most underrated stars in 00's video
He was al jeff and zbo mix in his prime
My favorite big man and Point god Baron Davis!
Now is the new Sixers GM 😊
Didn’t even know he existed until I saw this video
DAM IF JORDAN CAME BACK AFTER DRAFTING BRAND WITH OUT PIPPEN ECF THAT YEAR CAUSE THEY WOULD HAVE NO SMALL FORWARD TO GUARD OTHER GREAT SMALL FORWARDS
Band was suppose to be traded to the wizards for kwane brown 2001
Still blows me away why the hell they traded him it makes absolutely no sense the bulls had Brand,Artest, and Brad Miller smh
Weird thing us is that he was a number 1 pick
I think Elton Brand was setting himself up to be one of the best centers of the 2000s Sadly.....injuries got to him
This guy was a beast was a better defender thn Deandre and better offensively thn Blake believe it or not . If he was playing with a point guard like Chris Paul he would’ve been way better
Nobody even talks about him thats sad
When I think of the Clippers I think of Cory michetti
Jerry krauss fucked that deal up they had artest crawford and brand never had a chance to develop them together. What a shame love elt tho hes my guy
20+10 in rookie year, not many player do that
Elton Brand and Antawn Jamison
I only know this guy because of Morrowind.
Antawn Jamison?
clipper gang
Bulls were idiots trading him

Am I the only one who saw this and thought Zion Williamson looks exactly like him
I feel like if Jazz has brand instead of boozer they would have won a ship! They just had the wrong Duke player!
I hope your not really thinking he carried them to the playoffs in 2006 funky?
2006 NBA live. Clippers was my revenge team. Oh you beat me and my Houston? Well try beating my clippers.
i just saw giannis future...
So what you're saying is that once Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and Phil Jackson left Chicago, they went from 3 peat to bottom of the barrel? Hot damn!
Alex English is the most underrated player of all time.
Not underrated... Injuries cut his Prime short. He was a Journeyman after that... Trust me I'm a Sixers fan... he wasn't the same when he signed here in 2008 as he was with the clippers.
