ELR Gear! Phoenix Bipod and Protektor Rear Bag

Спорт

I recently bought both a Phoenix Precision bipod and Protektor rear bag to help me get more consistent with my ELR shooting. This video compares them to my trusty Atlas CAL bipod and Wiebad rear bag. Oh, and there's some ELR footage to boot.

I just watched all your videos and I must admit that you teach very well. I'm impressed by the quality of the content, mostly the practical analysis of the shooting method/gear. Thanks Man!

Thanks for your videos man. Tomorrow I get to shoot for the first time in 3 weeks....and I'll be doing more testing with some 245 EOLs with RL-26 in the 300PRC. I'll also be sporting the Phoenix Bipod and Protektor bag.....but with an Adjustable Bag Rider....which adds even more fine adjustment for those 1 mile + shots. Should be a great year for ELR!

Strongly suggest the Longshot precision adjustable bag rider. Micrometer level of adjustment is available with this device.

Would you define Tactical targets as Full Size IPSC to 1000 yards ? Or 1 MOA targets up to 1000 yards ?

Not to long ago I got a Tract Toric. For the money, I'm quite happy. It works at most ranges where I shoot my 300 PRC. However, I've been dialing in my new 37 XC and plan to push 2 miles as soon as the BLM land near me opens up after fire season. It won't quite be enough for that range.

Here is a video I did reviewing the Tract. kzread.info/dash/bejne/fpiY2s17f7eagKw.html

It's the one that they sell. I'm only marginally happy with it.

I run a protektor 13b heavy with atlas cal. Being in between notches sucks. Id run something more like that phoenix, but its too wide. I shoot from caldwell stable table cuz thats how i hunt prairie dogs. Atlas should make a different leg with half notches. Problem solved.

Yeah - I love the Atlas, but when it's not at the right height, I hate muscling the bag around to get there. I haven't seen after-market legs with closer detents, but someone should make some. I get why they are wide - it makes sense for matches where speed is critical - but otherwise it's a bit of a pain.
