That’s undoubtedly the good arguments learned Uzair Karamat to some extent had convinced to the hon’ble Court, For all I understood I feel he was trying to elucidate that the parliament cannot enhance the jurisdiction of Supreme Court with ordinary legislation which has already vested to it through constitution, however by doing so it has to amend the constitution. Tell you what if I were amongst one of the judges I would certainly agree with this argument, as Supreme Court is purely a constitutional court how parliament can restrict or enhance its jurisdiction without amending the constitution? So It’s very logical to say here that parliament cannot enhance the jurisdiction of the Supreme Court with ordinary legislation.
