Elon’s Terrible Plan for Twitter, Herschel Turns Abortion Scandal into Money Maker & Goodbye TikTok?

It was a harrowing day of rain here in LA, the wind in London blew giant holiday ornaments down the street, people are setting up their Christmas decorations way too early, a Texas furniture salesman named Mattress Mack put 10 million dollars on the World Series and got a not so warm welcome from Philly fans, American workers are slacking on the job more than ever before, employees at Twitter have been working twelve hour shifts to meet the deadlines established by their new terrible owner Elon Musk, one of the commissioners at the FCC is calling on the Federal Government to ban TikTok over concerns that China could be getting their hands on our private information, Herschel Walker is turning his issues into business ideas, a Sheriff’s department in Lake County, Ohio is under fire for the Halloween costumes they put on their horses, and our new edition of “Hey Jimmy Kimmel, I Told My Kids I Ate All Their Halloween Candy!”

Actually, you have productivity backwards. A lot of companies are forcing their employees to come back to the office, which they are not happy about. We had to start reversing our policies when half the office workers made it clear they did NOT want to be back in, even part time. Add in companies taking advantage of inflation to increase prices and pay their execs more or buyback stocks instead of paying it's employees more, and you have the quiet quitting while they look for better jobs.

Have had literal flashbacks over the years from watching that once or twice. I couldn't remember the name of that show or perhaps never knew it. You can bet I'm not going to be looking for any KZread videos of it.

People can still watch the series - it has a bit of a cult following 😆 It was filmed in Portmeiron in Wales which is still a busy tourist attraction as the Sets are still intact.
I love the delicious naughtiness of the "Mommy & Daddy ate all your Halloween Candy" prank. LOL!!!

It changed when Americans appropriated these ancient traditions. Halloween, for example, is only between the hours of darkness, on October 31st, in Scotland, where it originates. Christmas is exclusive to December 25th, in the UK, while the German celebration of Noel sees the 25th as the first day, during the advant. Thanksgiving, is pretty much celebrating British people not starving because the aboriginals shared some food with them. But now celebrated by neither groups that were involved.
That girl saying Damn it was hilarious 😂
My favorite part with the kids is that moment their brains are processing the message. And on top is the girl who thought it through and concluded they must had to poop after the fact. That is a very intelligent girl.

Originally and still a native of Annapolis, in late 70's I went to Long Beach City College for what was then one of the best Electronic Music programs in the country. There's something about rain in the Los Angeles basin you'd have to see to appreciate. I understand that the mountains east of Los Angeles, combined with ocean moisture tend to trap particulates such as vehicle exhaust, the smoke of fires, industrial "smog". The sky was ALWAYS orange. However, the day after a good rain the sky is (was, anyway) sparkling blue...... I hope to live long enough to see the effects of a reduction in gas-powered vehicles. While the Washington, D.C. beltway (495) and Baltimore Beltway (695) can turn into region-size parking lots during rush hours, traffic jams on the freeways of Los Angeles/Long Beach were literally oceans of vehicles.

That one kid stared off into space like he was having a war flashback.
Ironically, I once knew a preacher's son who did that whole "Oopsir" thing with this chick he knew from a community college. His whole family pressured her to get an abortion, he paid her $1000 to go across the state to do it, then when he broke his foot, he had no money to pay for x-rays, a cast, etc. Served him right! All he and his family cared about was their precious "reputation." As Worf once said, "You can't tarnish a rusted blade."
That marauding orb on the street scene was so artzy freaky I thought it must be from a Flaming Lips performance. I hope Wayne held on, tight.

@@wonderrob3225 As a parent and former neighborhood mom of other children, its fine to play tricks on them. It teaches them positive interaction and they often return the favor. Kids are a joy 😊. People are finally figuring out how badly they are being exploited by late stage capitalism.
If they followed up their manipulation by talking about how everyone genuinely felt and promising never to do it again, a great lesson could be learned here, and opportunities like these are rare.

Individual houses putting up Xmas decorations in November is insane. But, for commercial places and towns, they have no choice. A bunch of companies that do the work of putting up decorations (among other things, of course) went bust during the last two years. So the ones that are left have been booked solid and places who left organising stuff too late are stuck with early dates or no decorations at all.
