Agreed. Illusions cannot be said about it. They exude it. I'm not for forcing lab meat, but vertical farming and the romance movies I wished came back for mom. She only watched them, reruns bumped her into violent action movies I don't like seeing these days. Hallmark alone changed the environment in momma's home. I miss it. Oh well.

And even the gastronomy brother ( who previously was in tech together with his brother) turned 'green environmental techy kind of food business' after all. And daddy was an engineer. I don't see the big surprising variety. None of them became hairdresser, circus artist, maffia overloard or oceanographer or cult leader. Yet :D

I'm impressed at all the acomplishedments of the whole family. I've never heard of any family as successful as the Musks. I know Elon Musk is not only superrich but he is also a genius and deserves everything he gets. All I can say is his mom did a wonderful job raising him and I'm sure his dad contributed to it too. Skinny is revered by the modeling industry, but it doesn’t make the models beautiful, it makes them skinny. They have to wear a whole lot of make up to look beautiful, as you say. Very few women are beautiful.

I think he is not leading a luxurious extravagant life as stated here. He is a proficient business developer and a visionary entrepreneur.

Wow, the number of people that family could help who are real casualties of this world, the homeless etc, is huge. I don’t mean throwing money at charities, it being practical like building a cabin community for the responsible homeless, with a community “soup kitchen” attached for residents to work in etc, etc. They could build several “transition” villages. Direct help is the best, charities hand out a bit of this and that with no real progress.

As a white man, he benefitted from privilege, which provided access to opportunities. Those opportunities he would have in abundance regardless of where he chose to complete his secondary education. Also, his dad appeared to achieve wealth, especially from living in aparaid South Africa.

I don’t see Justine as greedy. She was heartbroken and most likely had divorce lawyers telling her to go after as much as she could. But she STILL worked, wrote her books .
