He is a class act really. Tbf this is normal for the BBC. The issue is playing devil's advocate when you don't have basic facts and figures to back up your accusations then you end up looking like a biased tool, like this guy.
Elon kept referring back to BBC, and laughing at his own 🍆 joke. Absolute Legend
"The average citizen knows more than the journalist" what a line.
I'm British, I have to pay for the BBC by force of law! Its become an embarrassment!
This is why Musk is a genius: basically what he has done here is set up an interview knowing that the BBC would try to do a hatchet job on him and then used this to expose the BBC for their misinformation and brainwashing while highlighting his point that freedom of speech is more important now than ever. Probably the best interview I've seen.

actually this guy showed up unannounced at Twitter headquarters and asked for an interview with Elon fully expecting to be turned down but to his surprise Elon agreed and live streamed it on Twitter. otherwise we would have never seen complete footage as BBC edited out the whole thing and aired like 5 minutes of this
He messed up big time. And also twitter has definitely been better under Elon than pre Elon.
Absolutely destroyed this interviewer, really well countered by Elon and so psychologically great, his BS meter is remarkable, he deserves my respect here...
The interviewer was an absolute tool. NEVER and I mean NEVER go up against a genius without doing any homework. I'm a Brit and I'm ashamed of this reporter and the BBC.
The fact that the interviewer said he has not used twitter in 3 weeks before this interview says it all. If you're going to be interviewing the CEO of twitter about how its going since he took over, but you aren't going to use the platform/app 3 weeks prior to the interview is absurd!! I take my hat off to Elon, he came to the interview more prepared than this BBC clown and could have could have embarrassed the reporter even further but didn't. Elon is a true gentleman!

@@ravenking2458 Yeah, should have but he couldn't. But that's not a reason to congratulate Elon, unless someone thinks his job is to out BS reporters. On a side note: the reporter said he was given a short notice so no wonder he couldn't prepare better. On another side note, while Elon was lying/avoiding the question about advertisers and claimed that "most of them" are or will be back on board soon, 2-3 months later Twitter ad revenues are officially down 50%. What a genius!
Sad that Elon had to waste his time with this interviewer.
POV you’re a journalist and one of your question is “what was we talking about ?” GOLD
22:55 is the momemt that he questions the BBC about vaccine injury. Every major media outlet ignored this part, just as the interviewer ignored the question, but it's another step towards being able to have this conversation as a society.
Terrible journalism! Maybe Elon should takeover the BBC and sack him.
Childish 'gotcha' journalism vs. actual orientation towards truth
Oh man, this is one of the most infuriating interviews I have ever seen. Feels like the interviewer has a list of accusations and he just goes through them and doesn't really even listen to the answers. Then when Elon has an answer he seems annoyed.
Elon wanted to be friendly lot of times in this. This guy had it coming and deserved it
Horrific journalism. Absolutely horrific.
Elon mask agrees to give 60mins of his time and BBC picks their best talent for the interview :)

The journalist is totally out classed Elon is far beyond him.
Years ago Musk had a dispute with the BBC about the way Top Gear represented the Tesla car used by Top Gear, it was quite damaging to Tesla. He accused them of outright lying. That is almost certainly what he was referring to in this interview but he did not actually mention it. I like Clarkson and Top Gear even if they did lie then. The fact Musk didn't mention it. He is a class act really. It is strange that the BBC were given the chance to have an interview with a man who is achieving so much on a planetary level, he is really in the elite of people on the planet and they set the interview up to go this way? Such a waste opportunity for them.
What a terrible and unprofessional handling of an interview by the journalist! Embarrassing!
