I don't think it is though - Jeremy olenski is the voice in this parody. Kevin clash (former) and now Ryan Dillon are Elmo now... pretty sure.

What I love about this parody is that it would have been so easy to make Elmo uncharacteristically yell and swear throughout, but they kept him as much in character as possible without relying on edgy “jokes” as humor, and more so comes from his child like demeanor to an adult situation.

This Elmo looks and sounds like the real Elmo.

Alas, his dreams were bereft of him, and he lost his red cottony body, with his soul disappearing back into the organic human brain that had conceived him.

I was confused at first. It said parody, but that impersonation and puppet was spot on, and it felt like an actual PSA straight from PBS. Great work!

Four years later, it still made me upset. It's like PBS killed Elmo.

1:47 Elmo gets the letter F, says “Ok, Elmo will go bye bye now.” And then the boss says “One more thing, leave the puppet.” Elmo says “Leave the puppet?” Which are his final words, and the boss takes the puppet out of the hand. That’s the part I like.
