I really hope that Elly doesn't become one of the many players who have amazing starts to a career and then an injury or age makes them fall off the cliff. I love how he plays the game and hope he can sustain it for years to come.

I like him, but he’s overrated. His stats aren’t amazing, he struggles against lefties, and he shouldn’t be an all star. Don’t get me wrong I love him because he is SO fun to watch he is really making the game better, but he should t be on pace for a hof career

If you get Bruce Bolts, take care of them. Don't let em sit in your bag if you aren't playing for a few days or if they got sweaty. Let them air out inside or somewhere that's room temperature.

Stl would be smart to trade Goldy/Arenado to a team that needs veteranship soon. They are on the brink of something big, but I think having 2 struggling vets is now hurting more than it's helping. Big fan of both, don't get me wrong.

Im not impressed with Elly. Take away his speed and you get a career .240 hitter who strikes out more than anyone else in the league. And who has more defensive errors than 90% of all shortstops

He is one of the top defensive shortstops not only having 8 outs above average but and absolute cannon of an arm and he has a 124 wRC+. He is clearly one of the best young talents in the game and is playing like a top 5 shortstop this year

@@seamusthenerdman you read to much into those analytical stats you can clearly see he struggles against lefties has a horrible accuracy with his throws especially when he tries to get to cute with it more often than not….. and makes some boneheaded decisions on the base paths

@michorizo323 i mean he has some problems and an argument can be made that defensive metrics are flawed, however he is an above league average hitter despite being worse against lefties. He makes mistakes in the field but so does everybody. You watch him play defense and you know he’s fantastic.

If fuzzy doesn’t like this comment than J-Ram is getting traded at the deadline
