There's no wonder when Olivia asked him what he needed, he instinctively said he loved her. It's HER that's what he needs. The man's inner world is in chaos. He needs to feel safe, grounded, belonging to someone. "You give him stability... he can't move on until he feels he's grounded." Elliot needs Olivia’s help to get through this. I felt like he wished she could have been with him during that therapy session. He's so vulnerable and confused. He needs her. I hope he opens up to her more, the next season.
Elliot and Olivia are soulmates. PERIOD!!

True I didn't think about that. Elliot already confessed his feelings, I feel that he want to date Olivia but shes not ready yet. Thats just my opinion though

He left her for so long they need time to trust again. But I think this season or next it will happen and it will be the total package for all there fans and that will be the end
