@@stevebbuk9557 The public know the facts, and do consider them when voting to decide who dances again. Picking contestants from showbiz makes it likely some will have dance experience but, e.g., Angela Scanlon's Irish dancing years ago has hardly thrust her to the top of the leader board.

To borrow one of Craig’s comments, that was FABULOUS. Ellie’s timing and musicality were amazingly and her enjoyment in the dance was a joy to behold. These two are the ones to beat this year imo.

Ellie is so fabulous and I am just in love with Vito’s choreography each week. He really is amazing. They are my winners 🪩

They’ll win the show. They’re gathering steam with the public and the judges. They so charming, fun and talented.

This was incredible; it was like watching a film with Fred and Ginger - the golden age of Hollywood shone on the floor, thanks to this amazing couple. Thank you Ellie and Vito, and well done 😊

I love Ellie and Vito. They have no 'back story', they are just 2 vey likeable hard working young people who are getting on with the job. She is an amazing dancer and I really want them to win. This American Smooth was probably the best ever on strictly.

My actual freakin god. How amazing could you make this?! The timing was spot on! Ellie is the one to watch in the competition! I reckon she might have a potential of winning! Performances like this, wow! This and their Paso Doble are my favourite dances they’ve done! They’ve just blew everything off me! Outstanding!

Oh my word this was just utterly stunning. Normally I'm not a massive fan of the American Smooth (I don't know why but sometimes it leaves me a little cold) but this one didn't it was smooth, classy, stylish and had everything you want. 10.

Gorgeous! Particularly love the ‘my life is gonna be beautiful’ sequence. I wish she didn’t have that stole on her shoulders, can’t see properly but extra nitpicky for anything, open the frame a bit more. Otherwise perfect

How was this not a 40? Loved this dance and this couple. Any other series and that would have been awarded four tens for sure. They’re definitely my winners.

Love, love, LOVE Vito. He brings the best out of his celebrity partners. Ellie is doing fantastically well. Bravo to both of them.

The game has FINALLY changed, Ellie is the one to beat in the competition! The other contestants have better watch out because they have a lot of work to do to knock the modern day Fred & Ginger out of the park. Simply stunning performance, deserved scores if not a full house, superb!

I do my own scoring when I'm watching. I've not scored anything 10 this series so far. This was the closest I have come so far to giving this the perfect mark. Stunning dance. Brilliant musicality, stunning lifts. My idea of the winner and Vito is the best thing to happen to the show in a long time.

Oh my goodness Vito looks fabulous in tails I think this is my favourite dance this year and we are now past the quarter finals

Vito is a marvellous dancer, I love watching him and he has done a brilliant job with Ellie, she is brilliant now. Definitely the winners.

This was sensational, every accent was hit with so much precision and such musicality. She oozed class and style throughout the dance but most importantly the sheer joy shone through above all else. Easily the dance of the series!

So joyful, classy and perfectly executed. This young lady feels the music from head to toe.

Score - *10/10!* This was my favourite dance of the night!!! Ellie is on Layton's toes atm and she has arrived shining and full of attack. It was really nice to see a dance full of transitions and flashy moments actually look effortless and continuous with the flow. I loved all the Jazz, the lifts, the lines, the Foxtrot, the acting and the theatrical pizzazz it brought. I absolutely loved it as much as everyone else it was a proper showstopping, classic and musical performance with perfect technique. This couple have arrived, their chemisry is above room temperature and they aren't leaving that's for sure!

They changed it up for the final ever so slightly by adding a lift toward the end and it looked way better
