Well it appears that even eagles enjoy watching the setting sun.☀️Unfortunately for Ellie the moment of peace is interrupted by an unwelcome intruder. You can easily see in her behaviour that she’s not happy with the uninvited guest. This is not a vocalization where she is calling for Eddy either. (More about Eddy in a moment).
Watch closely, in the top left corner, as you will catch a glimpse of her returning to the nest after chasing away the hawk ~ raven ~ or another eagle which is my guess.
Eddy wasn’t around all afternoon either.🤔 As you see in the second video he returns much earlier this a.m. than usual to perhaps make up for it.
