the fact that stacey is a psychologist is so disturbing! she understands what this is doing psychologically and emotionally to her daughter better than anyone, and yet she still does it!

Yeah, of all mothers you'd think the psychologist wouldn't be doing this to any child, especially their own. However, she was also the one who "diagnosed" Yolanda and joking about all her different personalities. People don't need to be professional all the time, but that was a red flag to me when it first aired. "You have a doctorate that's scary. I feel so sorry for your patients." Never thought I'd agree with Yolanda.

@@will2778 I’m guessing you’re not seeing the issue here because that 93.5% of viewers watching a male influencer are teenaged girls. The statistics of the men watching these girls are not teenage boys. Look it up. I can also give you the statistics of male pedophiles vs female pedophiles and show you where the issue lies and why one gender is far more sexualized and objectified than the other.

I feel terrible for both Elli and Lilly. Their childhoods are being ruined by their mothers, who are clearly living vicariously through them. Especially Yolanda, she literally lets Elliana do anything and that's just so scary. I'm honestly so concerned about Elli by looking at her instagram pictures. I'm glad you covered this topic. People say "It's none of your business! Stop hating on them! You're just jealous!" NO! What is there to be jealous of? Do you really think we'd be jealous of children that are just being used by their mothers for money? Children that are probably told to wear scandalous outfits just for the fame? NO! We are just trying to help protect innocent children because their parents have failed them. It's not the girls' fault. It's their mothers'. We are not hating on the girls, so the so-called "fans" of the Piper Rockelle squad should just shut up because they are part of the problem, not the solution.

I would love to see if we could get a petition going to see a dance video movie choreographed by anyone except abby lee. The "group" could pick the style of dance, the music, costumes, come up with the theme, etc... and we could have a dance special show or make it a movie or whatever. First group: Maddie Ziegler, Mackenzie Ziegler, Kalani Hilliker, Jojo Siwa, Chloe Lukasiak, Nia Sioux, Camryn Bridges, Paige Hyland, Brooke Hyland, and Kendall Vertes. Next Group: Ava Coda, Sarah Reasons, Sara Hunt, Tea Adam's, Kamryn Beck, and Jade Cloud. Third Group: Sophie Lucia, Asia Monet Ray, Ally Serigne, Bella Hoffheins, Chloe Nguyen, Daviana Fletcher, Fallon Chapman, Kaeli Ware, Talia Seitel, and Payton Ackerman. Fourth Group: Vivian Stein, Nicaya Wiley, Haley Huelsman, Chloe Smith, Tara Johnson, Zac Torres, Erika Schrade, Taylor O' Lear, Sarah Parish, Brooke Shore, and Madeleine Underwood. Fifth group: Gino Cosculluela, Justice McCort, Lucas Triana, Jalen Testerman, Nick Daniel's, Brandon Tolbott, Bryant Culler, Evan Gorbell, Gavin Morales, McKenzie Morales, Hadley Walts, and Ashton Roth. Group Six: Maesi Caes, Peyton Evan's, Mia Ciociano, Areana Lopez, Alexus Oladi, Alysa Owen, Kendyl Fay, Coco Quinn, and Kaylee Quinn. Last Group: Lilliana Ketchman, Kamyrn Smith, Savannah Kristich, Pressley Hosbach, GiaNina Paolantonio, Hannah Collins, Sarah Georgiana, Brady Farrar, Paris Moore, and Berkleigh Hernandez. Again just one dance per group, no abby lee miller or gianna martello and ABSOLUTELY NO COLLINS PRODUCTION INVOLVEMENT. The point of this would be to let the world see what they can really do. Pick a theme, have fun, show off your dance skills, makeup skills, acting skills, performance skills and entertainment skills. I think it would be a positive fun dance special to do, especially because everyone from dances moms says it was so awful and negative and stressful. So I say get any choreography, any costumes, any theme, any music, any - Just let's see these dancers creatively express themselves as artist with no one restricting them. What do you guys think?

N and Ch and JJ seem the most OK and grounded and least focused on outward appearance. Zieglers have had some bumpy moments, and it seems like Melissa at times was too blinded by stars in her eyes. But MZ is killing it and has found her artistic path. And KZ seems to be having an awesome time growing up. (PH and BH got out early and have really good parents). As for KV and KH… Hope KV gets her degree, I have so much hope for her. She has a really good support system, but I hope she (and KH) separates herself from creepy brands like Bing, I don’t think any parent should have OK’d that. I think KH is realizing she wants something different. Hope she opens a studio, becomes an instructor, starts an online membership program, etc. So many of us would support her art and pay for chance to learn from her 😭 her new learn to dance videos are awesome and hope she continues them. Heart absolutely breaks for Eli/Lilly, it’s a true horror show/Dark Mirror episode to see their KZread/IG feeds… almost unbelievable, until you really think for a moment about the industry they were thrown into at too young an age by parents who were aware of the costs and still willing. The OG moms/dads had no idea what it would turn into. Parents who would see the show and the hysteria around reality influencers and still sign up, are sus. The shows themselves are also sus, along with the producers/managers/sponsors/etc. Reality TV and influencer kids NEED protection and regulations and all this has to stop. Feels like YT doesn’t care one iota.

The fact that Pink talked about this and got bashed for it is another thing we need to unpack, these children don't even know the danger they're in and chalking it up to loving what they do. This is not okay, these children need to be protected because adulthood is going to be a spiral, it's very rare that a child star that is very popular comes out okay unless they take a step back from online content and social media. I literally fear for children because it's so obvious the grooming is right in front of our eyes, there's a reason why you have to be a certain age to do things, I understand that we are trying to build positivity but protecting your child is far more important, the world is not safe so don't rely on someone to protect your child. And don't think we can stop evil, avoid it where possible. 93.5% of men watching your child? I'm literally sick just imagining what they are in front of their screen doing while watching a pubescent girl, THIS is NOT okay.

Like how he still has a working relationship with Abby Lee Miller, even though he *knows* the shit she put her former students through. Seems like lip service to me how he acts sympathetic to Nia and Brynn who have been deeply emotionally harmed by Abby, but he turns around and collaborates with Abby anyways. I also don't like how he uses his children as clickbait. He used to make his son do crush videos all the time. Now he's using his daughter Salish. I think it's weird for a parent to encourage a bunch of strangers to ship their own kid with another kid. Things like your children's first crush and their first kiss should be a private affair.

Yes! I remember when Annie/Jules LeBlanc (from the channel Bratayley) and her family moved to LA to pursue this similar LA influencer lifestyle, her dad said that they would drag her at 12/13/14 years old to industry parties and then sit in the car while they were inside with moguls, producers, etc. and encouraged parents looking to create this lifestyle for their own kids to take them to those parties and sot in the car and read a book. Idk how this is not investigated as abuse and dangerous. LA has been well known as an unsafe place for minors but these parties are definitely not playing pin the tail on the donkey and there’s definitely alcohol and heavy influence and he as an adult was not only transparent about this, he was encouraging other parents to let their own pre-teens go to the parties while they read a book in the car like they were in the car pool line at the local middle school waiting for school to end.

Elli and Lilly's moms are so obviously just trying to be relevant and get their kids rich and famous no matter the price. Even just the fact that they signed them up for dance moms, and then revealed later that all the drama was fake but they still got into screaming and physical fights in front of their kids and let Abby abuse them. A 7 year old doesn't understand that's "fake", and the girls have said themselves they got mental health problems from it. And now that the show's ended they're doing everything they can to keep some of that relevance, even though the audience may be filled with predators.

Wow, it’s so ironic you decided to release this today. Just yesterday I found that same video by DadChallenge podcast and then went on a deep dive about the history of exploitation with these young teen girls. As a mother of two, this deeply disturbs me. Your own flesh and blood should never be a cash cow for your family. The primary role of parents is literally to PROVIDE for their children (amongst other things)! It shouldn’t be vice versa! Another duty is to protect them from these destructive environments. I understand you could say “oh, but the child wants to do it,” but frankly, it doesn’t matter. They’re still underage and do not understand the long-term ramifications of being exposed to the public on such a wide scale. You as the parent need to have that insight and protect your children. I would rather have my child come to me at 30 and say “you never let me be a star, you ruined my life,” versus “you exploited me online for years, you ruined my life.” This exploitation of minors online is becoming far too common, and it's about time that parents/legal guardians are held legally responsible for exposing their children to such a toxic environment at such a young age. I don't blame these poor girls; I blame their parents and whatever their motives are. If I could say anything to Elli, Lily, or any of these other girls, I would just want to give them a hug; their hearts are more valuable than their appearances, their social media following, or their salaries.

Social media changes the perception you have of yourself to the point where it is a known fact that young girls are being affected by having access to social media at a young age. I feel like these girls just deserve to be normal and they shouldn’t have to be subjected to this . It’s hard enough to be a regular non popular pre teen on social media. Us teens go through enough and we already have enough to stress about just from our daily normal lives. Thank you for making this video. Its sad that that the people that are supposed to protect and take care of you exploit their kids this way. I hope that Elliana and other teen influencers do well in their adulthood. If u see most child stars such as the Olsen twins lose interest and disappear from public spotlight because of the exploitive nature of the entertainment industry and also the lose of their childhood.

Just one comment on Luke: boys/teenagers generally don't do things like this unless they, too, have been victims of abuse or maltreatment, themselves. I'm not in any way excusing his behavior; I'm saying it is horrible, and also a red flag that other horrible things have likely happened to him.

I've been dealing with this, I want to have a platform where I can raise awareness and advocate for the disabled/LGBTIQ communities, and yet I'm constantly struggling with this toxic culture we have here in New Zealand, of praising and rewarding people who have literally used their wealth and privilege to achieve the same goal with hardly any effort, and the most upsetting part for me is that half of the ideas and campaigns are literally identical to my own ideas, literally word for word, I've become so obsessed with trying to out do and show these people up for the exploitive scum they are, but in the end it's just lead to me feeling exhausted and depressed, and angry, because I don't understand why I'm not good enough. Truth is that I will never be enough for these people, in order for them to be able to see that they have to put aside their prejudices and assumptions about people who are working class, or on the disability benefit and they will never do that.

Seems like that happens in Australia. But please do not feel discouraged. I think that we as an entire human race rely on materialism/commercialism that we often forget that there are still inequalities and those who are greatly affected are minority groups such as the LGBTIQA+ community, the Indigenious people and people with disabilities. We are divided by the haves and have nots and those who want will go to any lengths to get what they want, even at the cost of other people’s lives that we have forgotten the basics of human decency. (I am not sure where I am going with this as I am not always good with putting my views down.) Until we as humans make a better change to give everyone equal treatment, I am afraid things will never change. But I will say that no matter what, you are enough so don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

Finally someone says something. So many little kids look up to these girls for all the wrong reasons. Please let your kids be kids. They shouldn’t be growing up as 18 year olds at the age of 12. When this happens, your kids are much more likely to get into trouble and hurt themselves. Not to mention, sexualizing any child is horrendous. These girls are being put in a dangerous situation before they’re able to handle it.

This is one of the best and most eye-opening videos I've ever watched. Sometimes I wish I could be famous but this video has changed my mind. What I've learned from this video is that the reality of being famous is that you are seen by good people, but also by bad. You are forced into situations that aren't always good but sound good because they involve money. None of us are perfect, but being famous means that people see everything you do, good and bad. I wouldn't want the public eye to be on me when I make mistakes!! Thank you so much for making this video, you are extremely mature and I deeply value your content.

Well as Bailey Sarian says “get better idols”. In other words, find someone different to follow. Influences rely on audiences right? Well if they don’t have the platform/audience, they lose views. Yeah I know that there will always be those kids/creators with problematic behaviours, but we do have a choice in who to watch.

A while ago when I was younger I had a fanpage of Piper / for the squad, one of the squad members had been kicked out and I had no clue about it. I was young so I didn’t know, and I wanted to support that person. I commented on that persons posts and said I support them and “Piper” messaged me (It was Tiffany) saying something like “You were supporting a bully! We keep our circle small if someone isn’t part of it it’s for a reason.” And I was told to leave the fandom / that I’m not a part of it. I was like 10 and had 200 follows so I’m confused why Tiffany wasted her time to message me…I said I was sorry and I unfollowed the “Bully” and she said I was allowed to be back in the fandom. 😭 Tiffany also sent a picture and it was probably a screenshot of me supporting the person but I didn’t get to see it since my parents would check my phone and they saw it and I couldn’t see it anymore…

I’m not surprised with a mother like that, that Eliana’s brother would have a lot of problems. Also, Eliana may defend her mother, but abused children will commonly praise and make excuses for an abusive parent, even as adults. Umm, and the Dad telling her she looks like a VS model? That is disgusting and beyond inappropriate for a father to say to his daughter. Yet more stage parents willing to sacrifice their child’s health, safety and emotional well-being to feed the parent’s ego and greed. She’s 18, correct? Girlfriend…get a lawyer, delete all of your socials, go zero contact with your “parents,” have the lawyer make sure you get your money, and run for the hills.
