I wonder why Sri Lankan gov does not extend the same services that they provide for foriegners to local people who pay tax. Gov builds modern rest rooms for foriegners and keep them clearn while they completely neglect tax-paying citizens. I am very sad when I experience this discrimination towards local people by their own gov. Even in trains, why do we need this "class" seperations. Most average locals are forced to take the "3rd class", and the condition of the "3rd class" class is really kept 3rd forever. I am quite sure many average Sri Lankans do not even know that there is a 1st class on train.

Sri Lanka is a nice country for tourists because of all the naturally beautiful places. The only problem is corrupted politicians. They are f#$ingup the country. When the elections come they tell all the lies in the world to get votes. But overall for tourists, this is not a problem. The beauty is there. Tourists can enjoy it. Happy traveling :)

Sri Lanka is recognized as biodiversity hot spot and has so much to offer.Within 2, 3 hours you can experience different climate zones, sunny sandy golden beaches to cold greenish mountains, forests,rivers , historical cities,amazing wild life with elephants. Most hospitality,friendly smiley people and delicious foods.

These are lovely episodes, and it's great to see kids getting a good upbringing. I've seen a lot of Sri Lankan travel vlogs, but yours is unique. Guys, you continue to be an inspiration to many people. Also, if you go to Kandy, there is a nice children's drama called "Amba Yahaluwo" that they made (just search yt) based in that area. It is about two Sri Lankan kids, Sunil and Nimal, who have a strong friendship but face challenges as a result of class divide and poverty. There's an English translation of that classic novel, written in 1957, on which the drama was based, which you might be able to find in a bookstore or online. Also, the lovely location they chose for the drama, Sunil's home, is very close to the Dalada Maligawa. If you are interested, you can make a visit there (not sure who belongs it now or do they allow to enter, but you can see it outside). Anyway, if you like novels "Amba Yahaluwo" is a good classic read.
