That's simply not true! I know kids as young as 12 or 13 who can appreciate this kind of music. Of course they'll have to be introduced to it, if we fail to do so we can't complain. Btw. Ella is just wonderful! :)

When I was young, yea I like the Stones, Beatles, Zeplin, etc. Rock. But I also appreciated the music before my time - Doo Woop, Ella, etc. As I got older, I really added appreciation of country. Kids today have no desire to look and listen back.

I agree, I noticed long ago that the people stayed sitting in their chairs?!?!?!?!?! How can that be possible?!?!?!?!?! I never understood that. The greatest jazzsinger on earth was singing before them. Are they alive? Or just so flabbergasted that Ella was doing something that was from another universe then the one they were in??!?!?!? I love Ella without exception, but - IMHO - this period, with Mr. Flannagan and rest of the band, was Her best. Of course beside duets with Louis :)
