There should be a champion of champions meet, where the winners from each federation are flown out to compete against each other, expenses paid for. Televise it and get a major sponsor. I'm sure there would be a big enough audience to fund it. Some entrepreneur can figure out how to make this viable.

Wasn't that kinda what WPO did in the beginning? Took the strongest of the multi-ply lifters and put them in an open class to compete against each other and took it on television, that was like one of the major things to happen to powerlifting

Interesting how Cailer Woolam has spoken about treating accessories as main lifts that you wanna improve which carries over to comp lifts

Do you mean variations of the big 3? Because some powerlifters like Eric Lilliebridge will run a whole training block training a defecit deadlift for example.

@@TheLouisianan It is the dumbest shit ever fr. IPF has a rule saying that if you compete in another federation that isn't cool with IPF, you're banned from IPF. Here in Sweden IPF is the monopoly if you wanna compete in Powerliting, and if you decide to compete somewhere else, you're practically banned from powerlifting in Sweden, no joke

@@LinusE that kinda stuff is what rubbed me the wrong way. My first powerlifting meet had a federation split a month out so there was this political thing over loyalty to a fed. Realized that shit wasnt for me and got my money back. Ive done home gym meets with a few of my friends before and its probably more enjoyable
