My Dad's Army SF A-Team locked out from a Submarine into Grenada that night, His A-Team was supposed to do a joint operation with a Seal Team Element, the Seal's Helo casted into a sudden storm,& don't make the rendezvous point, so my Dad's ODA Split in two six man teams, & continue with the mission, it was a very active night,to say the least, interesting & incredible story,..it was perfect weather the few days prior, then that night it hit..R.I.P to all the Warrior's
But can you imagine the feeling you would have hearing the chooper and then seeing the navy seal there to rescue yall. Amazing

Incomplete documentary serves the purpose for people who know nothing about military history (books are good sources of information)

The video, The Panama Deception. I saw it back then. It has a helicopter mounted with top secret experimental lasers. I guess one melted a volswagin bug.
Now you have Shawn Ryan show, team never stops talking and being quiet. And all the other podcast of navy seals telling story’s. No secret anymore
LoVe you Seal team of USA navy Seal team.
About the time Mayorkas was brought in!
I was only 25 then . I remember an American service member having to use phone to inform of the situation , location, and backup needed . Stranger than fiction . Marines had just lost 241 lives , and countless maimed in Beruit , and a lot of French soldiers/Marines , to truck bomb murders . 40 years ago , and the world was alReady crazy .

one of the singlemost intelligence and security failure in US history that cost hundreds of lives of US marines. That stuff couldve been prevented if they had better intelligence coordination with the respective OGAs on the ground, or even other intelligence units within the Navy

Is this supposed to mike day? Not Daly?
"secret navy seal" is now considered an oxymoron
Navy seals weren’t that elite before the 2000s… they actually walked straight down the run way knowing there was no cover or even concealment of any kind and engage in a gun fight. They laid on the pavement not even doing a basic bounding over watch movement. They literally laid in the kill zone. I guess shoot move and communicate wasn’t a thin yet. Advanced gen 3 filmless nightvision does give us a tremendously better advantage. Gen 2 NVGs suck and don’t give you a ton of advantages. So modern seals and all modern SOF falling under Socom or JSOC have significantly better equipment.

Ya the Seal Teams at that time didn't even have a consolidated training program, each team did their own thing, which is not ideal,..my Dad's A-Team locked out a submarine into Grenada, they were supposed to rendezvous with the Seal's that drowned, his ODA had to split & did proceed with the mission.. crazy night
Too bad the background noise is louder than the narrator almost.
What.
Who.
Gotta love that start..... For national security reasons, their missions have been kept secret. And now a video looking at exactly what they did and how they did it. WTF? OK, either your revealing national security secrets.....or none of this happened in the way you described it. 🤔

@@Frank-uw5xq While that is probably the case. My question to you, is how do you know that? Did you take part in it personally, or know someone who did? Or was their another video where more details are given?

@@jeremybr2020 ya my Dads Special Forces A-Team locked out of a submarine into Grenada they were supposed to link up with the Seal's that drowned
The losses obviously due to botched planning and communication by government hot shots ...it put the SEALs in a damn tough situation...pitifully. RIP my brothers 🙏

The Diplomat in Grenada shouldn't have authority over the Seals.

True that no diplomats should have any say at all on military operations.
Respect too them still think British SAS best but am English
How.
So sad to think of all of the men who lost their lives, the poor family's. I was wondering why the Seal's didn't take the dead scum's guns and ammo. Does anyone know?

What?🤔 it's not a video game,& the gear they have is heavy enough
such superb soldiers one can see from this however, how dire American preparedness is, and how utterly poor their political leadership and will is the initial inklings of this decades ago is seen on YT comments on US leadership and command in the Vietnam war made by Robin Olds and Dave Waldrop and the utter debacle of the recent extraction out of Kabul: can only imagine imbiciles were running the show as well as imbiciles making decisions in the Whitehouse in this context of failure after failure, one can understand why Israel refuses to take the boot off the neck of Hamas, regardless of world opinion

not destroying Noriega' biz jet as an ROE resulting in Seal deaths, and the jet was PPGed anyway in desperation, is an illustration of American lunacy from the top - get there, destroy the jet immediately, then leave, intact,,,, rules of engagement is like going into battle with one's hands in cuffs behind one's back, to quote Robin Olds US career officers feeding the Whitehouse with Carnigie information far from reality, in order to preserve pensions in the sun, is part of the US army problem
