My God is more than I understand, He is merciful upon nations of men. I ask God to embed himself deep into my heart Allowing all works to be good, ‘till the end from the start.

I am deeply moved by the story of the prophet Elisha, a story very personal, 49 years ago ,I welcomed my second child, a boy whom I named Eliseo, ( Elisha, in Spanish) Thanks to Divine inervension, he has been healed, three times during his life. I thank God for the miracles in his life and ask him to guide him and his family in their jurney. Also to bless my other child, Gabriela and her family. Thanks for this beautiful video.

You're right. A little due diligence would have prevented this. Elisha received his call after the event on Mount Carmel while Jezebel was after Elijah's life. I found it hard watching the remaining parts of the video after this inaccurate account of events.

I have heard Elisha only pronounced "Eli-sha" and not in the feminine sounding "Alicia." I am 70 years old and attended two seminaries and have not heard Elisha pronounced as "Alicia" until a few years ago when I heard it from a young seminarian from West Virginia. I notice the younger generation pronouncing several words differently from long accepted pronunciation throughout both the United States and the United Kingdom. What linguistic shift is taking place?
