First, thank you for translating this!!! It made it very approachable for someone who knows only a little german. Second, I really appreciate how you translated "Kaiser Rudolf wird der Zeit entgegen gehn!" at 1:31:51. Usually in english I see this translated as "Rudolf will move towards his/the time", which suggests physically moving. But saying "Rudolf will meet his time" works very well here, because in english we do say "meet" when two moving forces encounter each other, such as trains or ships meeting when they pass each other but we also use it when people are introduced, or when they confront each other. We have a common phrase when a hero in a story must "meet his fate", or someone might "meet his destiny", which are a little more tangential but fit this line in the song very well in this context. that was a long paragraph but i just wanted tosay good job translating that line because you not only brought a direct meaning in english, but an artistic, poetic interpretation of it as well, which is too often lost in translating.

Thank you very much for the feedback! This is exactly why I even did it, to make it more accessible for non germans and because i noticed too that some english translations just translated phrases like this literally and lose a lot of the original meaning. I actually had to think a lot about that particular phrase. The german line itself is something i never heard anyone say and it took me some time to even understand what they mean by that Then I realized how the literal translation isn't really useful in that case... Vielen Dank fürs Teilen! André wird für mich immer DER Franzl sein, aber mit der jungen Sissi ist nicht so wirklich Chemie da - der Altersunterschied ist einfach zu groß. Ich mochte den Suprise-Auftritt von Maya, wobei ich auch gerne mehr von Abla gesehen hätte.

Gern Geschehen 😊 Irgendwann letztes Jahr kam es ja im Fernsehen und mein Vater war so nett und hat es mir aus der Mediathek runtergeladen. Ich dachte ich könnte ja mal ein paar Leuten eine Freude damit machen! Aber dies ist die Version die ich als erstes gesehen habe also wird das auch für mich DIE Besetzung bleiben 😅 Ich bin mal auf die Besetzung von der Tour gespannt da ich wahrscheinlich in Frankfurt hingehen werde!
