I am so glad to see, at the end of the match, the respect between Svitolina and Sabalenka, they looked at each other, no hand but they comunicated anyway. I hope they started to understand that the war is something not connected with these sport players.

I imagine it’s difficult to come back and play at a high level and also have responsibilities for a child - you worry and miss them, etc., and no nanny can stop that feeling. Svitolina doesn't play often nowadays but when she plays, you can see Monfis's influence. She plays more agressively now.

Another reason why Svitolina couldn’t get a slam, is her nerves. That said, her comeback is probably the most successful out of all the returning mothers. A good game here but Sabalenka once again shows us why she’s a former no. 1 and two grand slam champion.
